Aurora Home / Northern Alberta Home For Women Society

Aurora Home - provide short term accomodation for women who may have been or at risk of sexual exploitation who are seeking treatment.

Aurora Home's goal is to break down some barriers women face in their attempts to make dramatic life changes. Since dealing with their addictions is often the first step in making these changes, Aurora Home will offer short term accommodations for women who are in the process of applying for residential treatment programs. The home will be located in a residential area in Grande Prairie and leased by the Northern Alberta Home for Women Society.

Staff will assist clients to connect with existing services in the community which could include health care or other appointments and self help groups.
