Wonderful to have such a gem in the community. A place where celiacs can eat without worry, friendly service, intimate atmosphere, and fabulous food.

Went to this little gem on a whim yesterday while in Okotoks and so glad we did! The spaghetti squash/pumpkin soup was amazing and the Italian panini was to die for!! They were so good with my 5 year old too and whipped up a grilled cheese for her and a side of sliced cucumbers. Would definitely recommend Bistro 1882 to everyone!

We recently visited the Bistro and had an awesome dining experience. This family ran restaurant offers great service and great food. The owner/server and chef were very friendly and very welcoming. We were definitely glad that we made the stop for supper at the Bistro. We highly recommend this restaurant. Give it a try......you won't be disappointed.

Our favourite restaurant! This is where we go when a special occasion calls for a perfect dinner in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Ed always makes us feel welcome, and the food is divine!

My only regret is that we haven't tried this place sooner. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and while they don't make a big deal of it.....everything is gluten free, a real treat for people who are truly unable to eat the stuff.



You'll easily pay as much or more at the Keg, etc and this place is way better.

Had a fantastic lunch here today - the food was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Ed and Marcella are wonderful hosts and add to the overall dining experience. You won't be disappointed.

We go there often for lunch and dinner. Best place in Okotoks to dine!

Fantastic food. Excellent service. Not rushed at all. The table is yours for the evening as there is only one sitting.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

If it's a special occasion make sure to make a reservation. The owners are very nice people and really make your custom appreciated.

A must do. The best service we had in Okotoks and the whipped white chocolate cheesecake was quite possibly the best dessert I’ve ever eaten! Accompanied by beautiful sorbet. The main was delicious too. Lovely intimate setting...just go there! �

My husband and I have been here twice and both experiences were very different. The first experience was a 5/5... the food was amazing! We had a halibut that was on special and it was phenomenal! The second experience was a 2-3/5 at best. I had the salmon and it was dense, chewy and overcooked, tasted like it had been frozen. My husband had the duck and he was thrown off by the texture of the outer layer. The appetizers we ordered both times were consistent and really good. The price is a bit high, especially for the quality of the food on our second visit. We paid $120 for 2 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and tip and we left pretty disappointed. Not sure if we will be going back. 🙁
