Never enough tellers open at lunch (when it is the most convient time for Mon-Fri workers)Online telephone banking is atrocious - poorly set up and you can never get ahold of who you want to. Extremely hard process to close accounts.

It's lunch time and there are only two tellers open - 8 people in line. They are currently signing people up for online banking while we wait in line for hours...

Rediculous

I'd rather be dealing with any of the other banks that at least are open on Saturday...
I would not have opened my account there if I had known they are not open on the weekend.

I needed basic teller services, but never noticed any issues other than the fact they had only two tellers to handle a reasonably long line of customers.

I've been with BMO for 7yrs now and this is the first time I have had such frustrating experience. I called in on friday to confirm depositing a chq saturday would be cleared by monday and 2 separate reps assured me it would! Come monday the chq hadn't cleared I call in again and they told me the branch manager would call me before days end, never heard from him/her. I went in on Tuesday to get it cleared in person only to have the snarky older representative tell me she didn't have a record of it yet and as she has been "burned" before she wouldn't clear it in good faith(despite them clearing it at my old branch early allll the time!) they were rude and completely useless. so much for being treated as a valued customer. Now due to them misinforming me when I called in the first time I have bills due and no food in the house, time to start showing your long term customers a little respect.
