Got cap highlights and a cut. Started off on the wrong foot with the highlighting. The crochet needle digging into my scalp. I went to the washroom once it was removed to see if it was red that's how much it hurt. There are bumps from how hard I was poked. Never had that in all my years. The blonde was fine not my fav. The haircut started fine with her razoring and me saying yes I like the messy look to it being thinned but square. I can't twist my hair to be funky. Angry bc I am a student and got pain and a puffball head 😢 for my money.

I love Kelly , she does a great job on my hair and her colouring skills are exceptional .plus I always enjoying conversing with her ....been a steady customer for a few years now ...before her I went from one hair dresser to the next .

Just saw Kelly after frying my hair by lightening it numerous times with box dye. I wanted dark lavender roots with lighter lavender mixed with silver on the rest of my hair. I also needed to have it cut as it was really damaged. I absolutely love the cut and the color. Can't remember a time I was so happy with my hair. I also gave her little to work with as far as what I really wanted. Very happy and will be going back. She is not pushy so the previous comments of "not working to get me as a client" shouldn't be a bad reflection on her.

I booked an appointment with Kelly the day before and I'm assuming she must have forgotten within that 24 hour time frame. My hair is box dye black from a year ago and haven't been touched since. I'm well aware of the process as I've gotten my hair done plenty of times. I've had hairdressers suggesting a full head of highlights with different shades of brown/blonde instead of a full color change from dark to light. It all depends on the hairdressers knowledge and experience and I didn't want to complicate things and so I just asked for a full head highlights of different shades of brown/blonde. Which I'm assuming she forgot as well since she commented, "Oh. So you're going to make me work."

Anyways, after hours of bleaching my hair, she didn't quite do the FULL head as I was expecting with different shades of highlights as in, I did NOT want any black left. I was pretty disappointed when she started putting everything away and still had a lot of black hair not foiled up. I was tired and wanted to get out of there so I just let it be. Must have been another misunderstanding. After a while, she checked my foils and "Uh Oh" she says. I'm just like, "Did it turn out okay?" and she replies, "No, not quite." Tried adding more bleach, no changes and then finally decided to go with the heat which should've been done in the first place to get the brown/blonde highlights all even out and brighter.

Clearly, she lacked knowledge of what she was doing as a small strand of highlight turned out bright orange at the top, blonde, then different shades of brown. Can't even get highlights right. Was really disappointing and I just wanted to get out of there. She mentioned she can tone it later on free of charge so I called and so, I made an appointment for the following week after since after a few washes, the colors are more orange now. I didn't bother going n'or did she bother following up on a missed appointment etc.

Free of charge - why not, right? Not even worth the time and fuel for another disappointment. Cost me $120.00 for my highlights and I'd like to say, "You get what you pay for!" But, the results don't quite seem like it's even worth that much.

I go in here all the time to get my hair done by Kelly. She is very considerate, friendly and helpful. With her and the other ladies that work there, they make it very warm and inviting.
Kelly, Mandy and Asuza are very good at their job. They have a variety of services from hair cuts/dye, to extensions, to eye lashes. I highly recommend going there.
