Hello everyone. I’d like to provide an update on B4C.
Last year we built one house and a toilet for a needy family in Cambodia. We also built a fence around the school we support and handed out school supplies and around 50 bicycles. We handed out 1 tonne of rice to community residents.
2018 was a successful year and we led our second tour to Cambodia. This is a great way to raise funds for our efforts. All water wells, houses, toilets and school supports we paid for from r...evenue from these tours. If I have interest I will lead future tours.
We have had great support from our Board. Tiina and Paul Payson have supported our efforts from day one and they have single-handedly managed our booth at One World Ethical Fair.
We will continue to support our preschool in Cambodia. This will proceed with a very trusted partner who also supports preschool programs. We will also focus on supporting Aboriginal education programs. We have just donated funds to make 10 Cree language syllabuses for the Edmonton Public Library. We are excited we can do this.
Stay tuned for our Kampong Pepper sale. We expect our shipment will arrive in a few weeks.
My heartfelt thank you for you support.

Ok. I think it’s not too early. I’m planning another Tour With a Purpose trip to Cambodia next February 2019. Dates have not been picked. Details are as follows. We tour significant sites in Cambodia. If we have enough Rotarians we can visit Projects. We also work for one week helping very poor families building a house and latrine, handing out school supplies and bikes and doing other helpful acts. The trip usually lasts about 13/14 days including travel.
Let me know if you are interested by messaging me or commenting. The cost is usually around $100/day usd.
I’m looking forward to working with you. Oh and Habitat for Humanity will match every house we build.
