I came in with dead batteries on my replacement warranty and the young man behind the counter tested them for me and said they just needed to be charged. The report said they failed. The manager Jennifer Steeves was awesome and got me my batteries for me and stayed after closing to make sure I was making it home! Thank you Jennifer!

Everyone hides in the back. If you have a question about a product that is clearly in stock on the website for in the city they go in one door, pretend to look for whatever and you see them sneaking out the other door to avoid you. The worst Canadian Tire ever and I think the manager hates hunting of any kind there's never any ammo for a lot of calibers. I had to go to Peace River for .17Hmr ammo. Peace River has lots of ammo stocked plumb full of every caliber and tons of hunting stuff in stock. The staff super friendly and very helpful they don't runaway unlike the staff in Grande Prairies Canadian Tire.

Absolutely terrible service!!! I couldn't find a price on a bike so I asked a worker. Well she couldn't find it and went to look on their computer. After a very long time a guy came back and said similar bikes were $139. So I asked him if I could have it for that price then. And he said yes! He brought it to the front and disappeared. No one knew what was going on. And then after another looong time the guy came back and said sorry it's actually $170 and i couldn't have it for $140! He told me I could and then after wasting my time he says I can't! What kind of service is that!! Really really pissed me off. You can't trust their word.

Unsatisfactory service. They have a lady working in auto department shr is so rude. I bought two tires for my car in month of December and the one got destroyed and it was less than may be 4000km and they asked me to pay $168.78 plus the labour cost and tax. Normally it comes to the price of new tire 168.78+25 (labour cost)+tax. After that I was not satisfied with the deal and they still charged me for the labour to take on the tire from my car. And Although wasted my 2 hours. And forced me to pay $27 even they didn't do any job for me. Unsatisfactory customer service experience. Non cooprative staff.
Thanks

Paint counter friendly service but just one kid and a load of costumers 20 min wait before he had a chance to help me. Had everything I needed but when going to cash only 2 open. Weird for sat mornings. So a bit of unnecessary wait there as well

This happend quite a while ago but I took my first car I've owned in for a inspection and I needed my wheel bearings replaced. They said they replaced them and charged me for new bearings. About 3 weeks later after I moved from town I noticed that they were buzzing again. I took it in to my local guarage and apparently all Canadian tire had done was pack my old bearings with grease and charged me for new ones. They can't be trusted!!

Took my truck in because it was acting up. They say the fuel pump is shot and needs to be replaced. $900 later I get my truck back and it's doing the exact same thing. Bring it back and they have it for 2 days. Get it back and the fuel gauge does not work. Bring it back, another 2 days go by and now everything seems okay. 2 weeks later (maybe 50km driven since I got it back as I was at work) I am driving to BC pulling a small uhaul trailer. Just outside of Prince George my cab starts filling up with smoke. Pull over and pop the hood, my engine is on fire. Cool. Yell at my pregnant girlfriend to get out. Thankfully the fire went out. Oil had shot out from somewhere and hit the exhaust manifold which caused it to ignite. So I had to hitchhike in to Prince George, rent a uhaul and vehicle trailer, drive the uhaul an hour to my truck and empty the trailer into the uhaul, tow the trailer to Prince George. Drive back to my truck and load it on to the vehicle trailer. All in all this ended up costing me an additional $2500 for my drive back to BC. Had a competent mechanic look at the truck and it was the transmission that had the issue which was now beyond repair so I ended up scrapping the truck. So this canadian tire cost me THOUSANDS due to their inability to diagnose an issue. By the way I kept the old fuel pump that they said was shot and had it tested. Guess what. No issue at all with it. I will never in my life let any canadian tire touch my vehicle ever again.
