Another great week at the store! Not only were we able to donate $20,000 to local school healthy snack programs , but we approved more then $10,000 in funding through Canadian Tire Jumpstart to help children participate in sports! Are you ready for Back to School!!

It seems like yesterday but it was 12 years ago that we took this picture of the staff to celebrate the opening of our newly expanded store, next year we will be ready for a new picture when we open our new store !

We are pretty proud of this group of cashiers so we took them out to Earls last night for a little celebration . Between them they raised almost $20,000 of the $38,000 we raised during Canadian Tire Jumpstart month making us the Number one Fundraising store in the country and the number one store in western Canada for our conversion rate ! During June almost 10% of our customers made donations through the register which is our highest rate ever! So thank you to these committed cashiers and thank you Peace County for believing in our cause and supporting local youth to participate in sports!

Anyone remember any of these catalogue covers ? Any one know what year the catalogue came out? We made a quick visit To Toronto today to discuss the new build and found these on the wall!!

Our new building is coming along wonderfully!

Today I went in to get one thing & wasn’t in more then 10mins when I got up to the till.

It came on pretty fast to where I got very weak light headed & more.

I’m 33 weeks pregnant & the lady at till 1 noticed right away there was something wrong.

She stepped up quick & got help very fast for me & my unborn son.

Thank you to her & all other staff that where right there to help.

Keep up the great work & thank you for watching out for me.

Possibly the best place ive worked for in my 40 years. Great management team, great staff and fun environment.

Needed wiper blades at 730am. They were great and helped get them in when the other ones were broken and frozen. Like having a husband again. Very helpful. 2nd time this winter and both times amazing.

I've had nothing but excellent service! JC just returned my car and although I thought the problem would Be a major fix, and major $$, it turned out to be nothing and they only charged me for their time..then said if it continued they're look at it again on their time� I am a repeat customer and will always return to them.. amazing service. And as a side note.. fast!!! Thanks!

I was in the store a couple nights ago and came across this very polite, helpful young lady. I went in to get my boyfriend some tools for his birthday and she showed me what aisle they were on and the great sales, she really went above and beyond!! I was so please with the customer service that decided to stay and do some Christmas shopping... wow there are some crazy sales !! So I would like to that Canadian tire for having such an amazing staff member and also thank you Rachel for above and beyond the line of customer service :) ive been in this store during day time and found it so hard to get help, it feels like the staff run when you make eye contact lol... from here on out I'm heading there at night :) Rachel you gave me a pleasurable and positive experience, thank You!!

Came in 3 times in the last few weeks to get items the website claims to have multiples in stock of, and then find out none of the staff can find them. I was told today by 3 different staff to look in 3 different locations and then get told the website is always wrong and they don't have it. What's the point of the website and showing if it's in stock if it's always wrong? Thanks for the waste of my yime. Fix the website or whomever is screwing up inventory and maybe I'll come back. For now I guess I will suffer with Wal mart. Blah

Yesterday I ordered nearly 800.00 in auto parts and was guaranteed overnight shipping. Today when I go to pick up the parts I arrived to find out that one of the most important parts is is missing. Went to speak to the manager regarding this only to be met with excuses and rudeness. If you guarantee overnight shipping and one of the parts isn't received in the order you should contact your customer and let them know this. As it is I left Dawson Creek to come get these parts after a 16 hour day at work, only to find parts are missing and have to drive back to Dawson Creek and wait for you to get the parts.

I can honestly say that once I have this final part I will not do business with Canadian Tire as a whole.

Went in Sunday night to look for “valve caps” and due to my wrong pronunciation (coz I don’t know what it was) , the customer service at the service and parts dept laughed simply with the other customer and telling it with his company and continuously laughing ‘til we get to the queue.

Poor service. Do not validate warranty on there in house products.

I love when I go to the store and the aisles are packed to the tits with pallets. Ask an employee about getting a product from said isle and get nothing but attitude. It would be cool if aisle 44 wasnt an extension of the warehouse

I had the absolute worst customer service I have ever received from a lady named Marissa. So unbelievably rude. When I asked for help looking for a item she pointed in a general direction and told me to figure it out. When I asked her to call someone for she she growled at me that it was a waste of her time to call someone because she’s having a “bad day” and no one will come. Not impressed at all!!

I bought a bike one week ago and the front brakes have already fallen apart. Terrible service, terrible quality.

First time I've posted a negative review on anything publicly. Ordered a dresser that came with defects which made it impossible to be put together without a carpenter to fix it. Was offered by Canadian Tire to have a new one ordered but no guarantee that the replacement wouldn't have the same defects. Had a friend fix the defects allowing us to put it together. Went in to see what Canadian tire would do to stick behind the brands they stock - the lady at customer service was great - her manager however did not come to talk to me and I was told there was nothing they could do. I expect that a store stands behind their brands and treats the customer as a priority. If a manager would have taken the time to come speak to me I wouldn't be posting this. Disappointed in a store that I have always supported in the past.

DO NOT take your vehicle here!!! We got our power steering pump changed in December and 3 weeks later it crapped out. Low and behold they didn’t honour their warranty � So we had to pay for another damn pump. Crooked jerks!!!

Crapy tire is what they should call themselves and don't leave messages on their time line they just delete bad posts about their unfriendly store
