Had my partner go in to pick out a set of new tires. Surprised to find that we had been given 3 obviously used tires (one had a nail in it) and one that was a completely different size? This is not a mistake you make when someone has just paid you $700. The front desk service is the main issue here, a woman who I wish I had the name of tried to say it wasn't the shop's mistake (???) and refused to consider our lost time and money. Asked for the shop manager less than a minute later, and he was completely willing to help us out.

06/25/21' Terrible location. Brought my car in for a brake job and provided all the parts myself. I had a lug nut missing, so I asked that once all the rotors were off and everything, fix that first. Come back the next day and he charges me roughly $500 in shop fees AND DIDN'T FIX THE LUG NUT! Then when I asked him why he can't get it done for me before releasing my car in an unsafe state, he replied:
"It's $130 because we have to take the rotors off again. If you don't go on any long trips you should be fine."
I can't believe he would release my car in an unsafe state.
06/09/22' Wanted to give them a second chance - came to simply inquire about tires... The lady at the till tells me: "P235/50R15" is NOT the tire size... 🤦‍♂️ She asked me to go home and take a picture of the tire, which is the EXACT same number. I don't know if a location can run any worse tbh...

Impeccable customer service in the tire shop!
The morning of my return trip to BC started with a ‘Tire pressure low’ warning signal, I had seemingly picked up a tack on my way into Edmonton.
From the moment I entered the Canadian Tire Service Shop at West Point I was in good hands. Richard’s expert suggestions at the service desk, Laurel’s help at the counter, and the support of the great team of technicians, they had me back on the road again with fresh rubber (on sale I might add!), and a feeling of comfort and safety for my drive home.

Thanks to the team at Canadian Tire Edmonton West, your customer service was exceptional!
Warm Regards,
One happy traveller

Good selection of various products at reasonable prices. We shop there for camping, outdoors sports and related products. Also for household goods and storage needs. Seasonal products for christmas, summer or other times. Gardening and other projects. Also automotive parts and cleaning products. They carry a huge number of different things and if we don't know where to shop for an item we check online to see if Canadian Tire has it and usually it does. The staff is usually very knowledgeable and helpful. Of course these days there are occasional shortages of products due to supply chain problems through no fault of their own.

I'll tell ya what. You go in here at the Canadian tire and boy do they ever have STUFF!! Just rows and rows and rows of hardware. Whatever you're looking for hardware-wise, Canadian Tire DEFINITELY HAS IT. Almost like a lil maze in there. 💯👍🏽
I recommend.

User

well organized and easy to find things. needed some last minute things for my car while I was in Edmonton and this place was perfect. staff were very helpful.

User

A little hard to find things given the sheer size of it but the staff was friendly and the check out was very quick!

User

The shelfs had plenty stock on them for the items that I was looking for that were on sale. There was lots of staff at the check out to fulfilling my purchase. Friendly staff.

I applaud this store for choosing to go with the locally owned ice supplier. Small Alberta businesses employ most people in this province and our survival depends on the Canadian Tires of the world, like on 178th street making the choice to use a local business. If supporting businesses that support local matters to you then this Canadian Tire is for you!!!

Some cashiers have no manners here. At least say 'hi' or 'have a good day'. I would pretty much prefer to deal with those automated machines like some other Canadian Tires. At least the computer is programmed to have manners.

Switched locations, all good now.

I've been a long time customer here however lately they have people trying to sign you up for a ct credit card. That is fine however it gets the point of harassment they follow you around I've been asked 3 times on 3 sp erase occasions by the same person and they have to sit there and give you entire run down every single time even when you say sorry no not interested will not be returning to this store. Very poor practice

User

It's definitely a Canadian tire. the store has great service and the auto department is great at everything to do with tires! Bit if you're doing some serious work on you're ride bring it to a mechanic not a tire technician.
