Clean and tidy but department clerks don't really know where stuff is and don't make much effort to help one out.

Horrible experience - Took my car here to get a noise checked out. They told me it was my belt and tension pulley that needed to be replaced and it would cost $391. I let them do the fix , when i picked it up the charge was around $450 now as they added another belt without me knowing. I did end up getting the one belt refunded. Once i got in my car the noise was still there, it took them almost a day and a half to get this fixed and still missed the problem. When i brought it back they said the noise was coming from the water pump that was leaking onto my alternator and making the bearing squeak. This would have costed me another $800+ if i let them do the work. So i am still a bit confused why they changed the tensioner in the first place. So i ended up taking it somewhere else and they told me that the water pump was making the noise and it was not leaking nor was it even above the alternator. So the car is all fixed now and when i spoke to management about the miss diagnosis all he kept saying was it needed to be done regardless and saying they can remove the labor to replace the alternator (when that was not even the issue).

I went in there to get a noise fixed - it was not fixed and they refuse to help out or process any sort of refund for pointless repairs.

Do not bother bringing your vehicle here for service as they will just try and up sell you and make pointless fixes. I will never be coming back to this location and i have no trust in them.

Canadian tire staff have no respect of customers nor do the acknowledge the fact that they have the experience to do repairs on vehicles. Along with management in the service department, having 45 years experience in mechanics is lacking and zero customer service towards resolving the problem. Having not wanting to hear what the problem was and not caring to deal with existing concerns or even caring to resolve their own issues in the lack of experience.

The sales are great, I can always find my oil for a solid deal. The staff are helpful and always do their best to find what I need. I'll increase this review to five stars when the horrible squealing of the Auto parts and service desk is fixed. Those poor people, having to listen to that all day! If you're out of 3 in 1, you can borrow some of mine 😁

Brought our Jeep in to get looked at due to a wobble in the front. Inspected and was told I need to do the entire front end for $3000. I brought it in elsewhere and they aligned and balance the tires and now its fixed. I expect this from a seedy shop at some run down corner but not from a place like Canadian Tire. Was i wrong. Not happy, I don't know if they are idiots or crooked but take my advice, go elsewhere!

I frequent the store often. I find that things are not perfect but the staff in the Parts and Service Dept's are excellent on most days (everyone has an off day to be fair). If you are kind to them they are very helpful and will often go a step beyond. I found Will to be my go to man for assistance as he is very knowledgeable. Great job to the entire team all around, keep it up! Also a big thanks to Ken and Ricardo for helping me after I lost paperwork for warranties.

Wanted to buy a propane torch kit, for some reason the $20 item is under lock and key. Went hunting for 30 minutes to find an employee and then said screw it and left. I shouldn't have to hunt for some 15 year old kid to grab his keys and open a glass window. Lack of employees hunting customers is seriously going to hurt their business. I shouldn't have to walk to the cashier from the very back of the store for assistance. I left my cart full of stuff. They just lost a few hundred dollars in sales. I will not be going back to this store.

I've never been to a Canadian Tire that has been "perfect," but the Airdrie location is by far one of the better ones. The store is generally clean and well organized and the staff are friendly and happy to help. On occasion, the staff has had problems finding things in the back, and the return line can be slow when busy. I can say, however, that the returns/customer service counter here is always easy to deal with and extremely helpful.

I was greeted in a friendly manner from all there automotive staff. Very informative and there wasn't any hidden fees. I called in for a quote and it's exactly what I paid when I came in. The gentleman at the counter was very polite. And they even have a sitting area away from all the noise, with couches, coffee, vending machine, tv and electric fireplace. That was a nice touch because I could sit out of the way comfortably waiting for my tires to be put on.

The greeter today was Tim and he was so friendly and polite. He had a car cart waiting for my son and I as soon as we walked in the door.
The cashires number was 20... I didn't get her name. She was friendly and put our cart away for us as we were leaving. I always get good service there and that's why I go back every time.

The manager is awful - tried to return an item purchased from another Canadian Tire store, unfortunately the clerk at the other store keyed in the sku number incorrectly so the receipt had an extra number and did not match the system exactly. He said that each store is owned individually so he wasn't going to take the item back because he had too many fraudulent returns and didn't want to be out the money ($198.00). WTF? I had the item with the Canadian Tire sticker on it and a Canadian Tire receipt. I called the store in South Calgary (were I purchased the item because Airdrie store was sold out) and the manager there said if the Airdrie manager took the item back he would definitely take it back on an inter-store transfer. I then had to hand my phone to the Airdrie store manager so he could be guaranteed his money back from the other store if he took it back into inventory. What a ridiculous thing to go through. This was last summer and I told the miserly jerk I would never come back to the Airdrie store and I haven't. Although I live in Airdrie I drive into Calgary if I want to shop at Canadian Tire. P.S. If I could give them a rating less than one star I would.

Try to support Canadian business but Canadian Tire has the worst return procedure I've ever seen. You can't even exchange a product without receipt. Forget about tracking your product if you paid cash. Tried to exchange snowshoes that my husband bought my son which are to big but because I didn't have his receipt or method of payment, I'm stuck with them. I'm never setting foot in a Canadian Tire again. This wasn't the first time I've had problems with them. I've had it.
