Care For Newcomers

Our Mission: Through partnerships, programs and services, Care for Newcomers supports successful newcomer integration. Services provided: - ESL (English as a Second Language), both day and evening- Information and Referral about other immigrant support services- Canadian Citizenship preparation classes- Public Awareness and Education about multi-culturalism- Settlement Support in School- Settlement Support in Libraries- Translation and Interpretation- Immigrant Men and Women Support Groups- Newcomer Connections Volunteer Program- Employer Engagement ProgramServices are provided by 60 qualified staff and more than 300 dedicated and highly appreciated volunteers.
