I found this little gem behind Home Hardware after some positive reviews from friends of mine. Troy is a very honest and reasonable business owner. I purchased rear brake rotors and pads along with a set of tires. Ended up with a better quality product at a price that than the local competition couldn't touch, what more could you ask for. In addition, a local dealership made me feel like more work had to be done to my vehicle which included a hefty price tag. But after Central Auto Care took a look they assured me that half the work recommended wasn't required!
It is difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic that can provide you service and have you leaving with a smile, especially for a cheap guy like myself. 100% recommend this establishment - you won't be disappointed!

Have had central auto care inspect multiple vehicles I own. Their inspections are very detailed and thorough. They never pressured me into any repairs for items found on the inspection. The inspection helped me budget for future maintenance and repairs my vehicle would need.

Great customer service, which is hard to find these days. Troy and his staff will make sure you and your vehicle are taken of. I will continue to go back and highly recommend this shop for all your vehicle repair needs!

What a breath of fresh air!!
Contacted Matt on May 11/2016 indicating to Matt that there was an issue with the EGR switch over valve either the switch or a wiring problem. Had a diagnostic from another shop, but wasn't feeling very comfortable with there attitude or diagnoses. Matt told me that they would have to diagnose it again and if they got the same code he wouldn't charge me for that code.
Even though very busy got me in on May 12/16.for their diagnosis did reveal one of the same codes plus more.(True to his word, he didn't charge me for that code) Order part got from Vancouver to save me money. Half as much. Had to come in on May 13/16 to finish checking wiring and install part if needed. Troy (Technician)that worked on car was very efficient found a broken wire so they didn't need to use part. Which to me shows total honesty!! He also discovered an oil leak(which needs more time to find)
I'm from Calgary a 45 minute drive from our home to their shop.
But I can tell you when you get treated with this much respect its not an issue. Matt and Troy keep you in the loop and explain every thing very completely with what's wrong.(Like a small novel when their done the work) BEST EVER!!! Plus rates are more than competitive!

Tory's a trustworthy mechanic...and the rates are really reasonable!
