We were passing through Northern BC on a weekend trip when our truck began acting up. We called 4 different dealerships in the north and none would fit us in or had a mechanic working on a Saturday, This dealership not only fit us in at 1:30 when they closed at 3:00 on a Saturday, but they prioritized us as we were stranded. The fix was done in an hour and at a great price. Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

I just decided to leave a review... the work ive had done happened over a year ago.
my wife and I both bought our vehicles at doug marshall and although the sales department was great to deal with the back end more than makes up for the 1 star.
my wife got backed into in a parking lot. it took 2 weeks to get the parts and paint the back end. when we picked up the car we noticed several scratches and a dent on the passenger side. we brought it to the attention of the service lady and she took pictures of it. after fighting with all of the managers there we were told that there was no way they did the damage.
on my truck... they replaced and painted the side of the box. the paint lasted about a year and now its pealing on the side which was repaired,
since the incident with my wifes car we haven't been back and have been much happier with the service at ken sargent.

Jarett Johnson was our salesman this week, he was absolutely the best help, he got us into exactly what were looking for. He was a pleasure to deal with and we couldn't be happier with the service and our new truck. Thank you again. We will definitely be back to purchase from him again.

If you are looking for a new car, I highly recommend Doug Marshall Chevrolet dealership. Amazing people and service. They even helped me out with a rental while I was waiting for my new ride to come in. Rolly & Bob were awesome. They went above and beyond for me.

I had a great experience here. I dealt with Doug Robinson and he is a great salesman. He worked with me a lot as I figured out what truck was perfect for me and my work needs. I'm not the easiest customer but he never pressured me even after hours and multiple visits. I recommend him to anyone buying. 5 Stars.

My only compaint is oil changes. They will take forever. You have to book an appointment. There is no drive in oil changes here. This is supposed to be a 45 minute wait. It's too short to go home and come back?? You might think that but take the ride home! For the love of god, do not wait! They offer the ride for a reason. If not you'll be sitting in the waiting room 2.5 hours later with nothing but time to write a review while your stomach grumbles and all your other plans for the day dissapear. So if you're thinking you really have nothing going on in your life, like at all, take your truck here for an oil change. Tire roatation was quick after the oil change. The service staff were very friendly and efficient as well.

TLDR - Doug is great. Bring a pillow for oil changes.

Reasons why I wouldn't recommend this dealership is even my worst enemy.
I purchase my vehicle which is a 2014 Ford Escape in December 2016 which is under a year ago. Being a 1st time buyer and a young lady who lives in Northern Alberta I only wanted two things an SUV preferably Black in colour and command start. My sales man Kyle ( who apparently no longer is employed here) told me that I would be receiving command start free of charge. It has now been almost a year and do I have command start? No! However this is not why I'm leaving this post! Yesterday while driving on the Highway my front passenger tire blew up! (Remember how I said this vehicle was purchased under a year ago) The Nice man at Kal tire informed me that my tires (all 4) were bald and should have been Replaced a long time ago, funny right? Seeming how I was told by my sales man that my tires would be good for years to come! Stay safe out here people and don't believe everything your sales man tells you!

Don Hunter is a fantastic salesperson to deal with when looking for a new or used vehicle. He is very honest and knowledgeable and will look out for the customers best interests. Highly recommended.

I've been buying my trucks at Doug Marshall's for the past 15 years. Gone through 4 different Avalanche's . Last one being a 2013. Don Hunter has been there every step of the way. Treated me right. Always made sure my truck was exactly what I wanted. Don Hunter is very easy to talk to. Never pressured me to do anything I didn't want. Don got me a great trade in for my truck against my new High Country. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a vehicle. If there was a superman of car sales. He the man. hahaha. Thanks again Don. Really appreciate everything you did for me.

Well, meeting and dealing with Don Hunter is the best experience ever - even my wife is happy. Don made us feel at ease and was very clear about the whole deal. Din Hinter really knows about the Colorado and we highly recommend him and Doug Marshall

I purchased a Chevrolet Silverado from Don Hunter and highly recommend seeing him when looking for a vehicle. He helped me find a great deal on a wonderful truck that fit exactly what I was looking for. Don is not a salesman out to sell you a vehicle based on the max banks will Approve you for but instead finds you what you want. Go see Don you won't regret it.

Had my truck in for some collision work. I brought it to these people because they are a GM dealership and thought they may do a better job. Wrong. My truck had the box side sprayed, apparently they felt the need to spray the frame silver too, poor prep. While leaving the dealership I heard a loud bang. When they repaired the front fender someone had left a green flathead screwdriver under the hood. It rattled right into the engine bay and damaged the fan. Thanks!

Update - John called me to rectify the issue. To be fair, he has been very good to deal with. The paint they actually did was well done.

Ask for Don Hunter , professionalism at its best!!! Recently purchased a new vehicle from Don and he explained everything and let me take my time with my decision. The whole sales process was the way every client should be treated at a dealership. I have a lot of respect for Don and he is one of the few stand-up sales guy working at car dealerships today!!!

You call yourselves "Certified Licenced Mechanics"?? I own a 2007 Cadillac STS and although its a few years old, it only has 70,000 km on it. This car ran beautifully with all her bells n whistles working until I had them perform some routine maintenance. I didn't even leave the parking lot and I noticed the "Check Engine" light was on. I informed them but I was turned away until they had time. Since then, I have visited the Service Department over 5 times since early December/16 to have the "check engine" light diagnosed and repaired. I have been charged over $3000.00 and the light comes back within minutes of me leaving. Now, the whole electrical system shuts down. I have since given up on them and have to kiss the $3000.00 goodbye and start again somewhere else. We all know not to send food back at fast food places for fear they will spit in your hamburger....well, that it pretty much what I feel has happened with my car. I STRONGLY suggest to never ever have them even open your hood.
