Earth'S General Store

This is my happy place where I can go to find 99% of the organic items I need for my life as well as items I have read about and would like to try. I can buy so many things in bulk including essential oils, epsom salts, herbals for tea and tinctures, salts, cooking spices, sprouting seeds, coffee, soaps, shampoos, cooking oils, which allows me to sample products before I commit to a large package. Being able to buy these things in bulk means these items are always fresh because I can purchase only the amount that I need. Patrons regularly contribute to a container collection bin so I can get some kind of small bottle, jar or bag to put bulk spices or oils into. In the spring I get my seeds for my garden there and can also find the specialty items I need for fermenting, making yogourt and kefir.

Cute little place with some good deals, but most of their stuff is overpriced. You can usually find most of the specialty items they carry available at Superstore for a much lower cost. It's great to have little local places like this, but it's unfortunate that the prices are so much higher. Even if you factor in convenience, for most items, you're better off making a Superstore trip. They have a few things I have yet to find at most places, though, so that's nice to see.

They have a great selection of healthy foods and supplies and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Many of their prices are better than some of the other shops specializing in similar items. I will always recommend them and be a repeat customer for all the great healthy products at a great price that I use all the time.

I love this store! Great for all things natural and organic. Great prices vs quantity. Find anything here! Laundry soap in large quantities food snacks shampoo etc. Earths general store is a go 2 for any edmontonian:))

Staff is always friendly and helpful, good choice of organic or well-sourced bulk items (those which are not organic are clearly labelled), and always check the 'ugly is beautiful' section for good produce discounts. if you're lucky you'll stop by on a day when they put out stock that is at the best before (or just after) date for free pick up out front of the store. The values of this store prove that a local, environmental and global-citizen based economic model is possible - so just go already!

Love supporting local, conscious, ethical businesses for my healthy essentials. Awesome quality and always great deals on stock that's nearing expiry or just doesn't look as pretty

My mom used to take me here when I was younger, and now that I have my own baby, I love taking her here for healthy food and body care products. I also LOVE how they don't waste produce, and have a basket at the tills with free produce that might have a little mold spot, or a dent, or a soft spot - doesn't mean it needs to go into the trash! I always try to take something when I stop by. And their free store outside is great too. :)

Friendly Staff, willing to help you out, selected items food eggs taste, my bus fare can goes towards a cool drink or other treat some different items and a short walk to the store. Great location.

Sustainability is the goal here and that's fully achieved through a careful curation of products and judicious support of community initiatives. Offerings include bulk cleaning supplies served up in donated reusable containers to herbs sourced from local gardens. Well worth supporting.
