About Edmonton Federation Of Community Leagues (Efcl)

The role of the EFCL is to speak on behalf of all community leagues. EFCL assists and supports the work of community leagues through program development and delivery, workshops, regular communications, advice on issues and opportunities, joint purchase of supplies, and attraction of sponsorships. EFCL focuses its work on: * issues that have a city-wide implication for community leagues. These include sports and recreation programs and facilities, zoning bylaw changes such as secondary suites regulation, the Municipal Development Plan, Joint Use Agreement, Transportation Master Plan, the parks management strategy, public involvement policy, affordable housing policy, public transit systems and municipal community league grants; * issues that may affect a majority of community leagues either directly or indirectly.
