Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) Program

What is LINC?
•LINC is an English language and Settlement training program funded by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (www. cic. gc. ca) that is offered at Keyano College to adult newcomers who are Permanent Residents and Conventional Refugees.

Who can take LINC?
•Permanent Residents or Conventional Refugees, 18 years or older

About LINC Classes:
•Classes range from Literacy Level 0 to 6
•Part-time classes are 12 hours a week and are offered in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings
•New students accepted into classes on the first Monday of every month
•Class sizes are limited
•Classes focus on English speaking, reading, writing and listening skills
