The Horses At Evergreen Park 2018 wrapped up with the annual Mr. Mike's Paint The Park Purple - Race For The Cure on Sunday. Thanks to all who took in the races this year, the sponsors, volunteers, jockeys, owners, trainers and others who helped make it another successful season of pari-mutuel racing at J.D.A. Raceway.

And, winners of the purpleist people at Mr. Mike's Paint The Park Purple - Race For The Cure. Little four-month-old Maddox; Jenna Rycroft (left) and Mandy Clark with Mr. Mike's GM Brad Richards; and pony riders Robin Cook (dark horse) and Sylvia Speaks. Great way to end the season at The Horses At Evergreen Park Sunday.

Was at my very first horse race on Friday night. Well organized had fun and met new people

Love the horse racing and the Eventing course for horses on the Labour Day weekend. Most people don't know that there is free admission and free parking available when going to the races. And some very friendly people available to explain how to place bets if you have never bet before. Try it! It is super exhilarating to match your horsemanship knowledge against a lineup of horses by betting on which one you think has the best chance of winning. Going to the races is a great (and cheap) outing to celebrate special events such as birthdays, etc., and if you know of a shut-in that you can bring along (wheelchair accessable) they will love it! See you there!

Love all the uses this busy place has. The Christmas light display via the horse driven wagon was awesome.

Looking forward to the MMA fights at the Park in April. Took in the previous bouts in 2013 and they were very entertaining. Good job by Xcessive Force in putting this event on!

I've been going and volunteering for quite a few years. Walking through this year, they've definitely out done themselves!! My girlfriends and I loved it!!! Was so so awesome. Scared the crap out of us. Brilliant!!!!!!!! We'll most certainly go next year and the year after that!!!

I try to go every weekend if I can I love the horse races and my son has a great time at the same time I've gone every year for the past 4 years and can't wait for next year

I loved it and the inspirational chats and moments � and amazing crowds and so grateful for my wonderful friend � � �

Evergreen park provides a fun family atmosphere that allows everyone the opportunity to enjoy some of the best outdoor activities in the peace country.

Evergreen Park is a beautiful place. The food at the Pines family restaurant yesterday was yummi n o so wanting more..... The service is great and the staff are friendly and warm. Thank u Evergreen Park.

Awesome! Love having a horse sport central up here in the north. So grateful for the cross country course and awesome coaches South Peace horse club brings to the park! THANKS!

I am very impressed with the upgrades and the beauty of nature combination.

I've been here for many events and have never had a issue. Always a great time and really affordable !!



Although, about a week ago or so I called asking about the details of the RBC light night that was free, the lady who answered had NO idea what I was talking about and said there wasn't such a thing. Turns out it did happen and thankfully I was able to make it .



I also asked about dates times and prices for the festival of trees. I was told if I came today it would be open 8am-9pm. So we decided to make it a night and go, expect when we got there, there was no one around, all the little shops and such were closed. Turned out they closed for the gala, which the lady did NOT inform us. I was extremely disappointed we were not given the right information for either event...please make sure ALL your staff who answer the phones, know what they are talking about and providing proper information to customers. Hopefully someone else doesn't get there and waste their time like we did tonight.
