Outrageous prices. $77 for a roll of ribbon. Off to Michael's I went.

Never had an issue here. The only store of its type in town that I know of. The staff has always been more than helpful, abdomen is very knowledgeable.

I was so disgusted with the unprofessionalism of the employees at Fabricland. I went in this morning with my two small girls and my mother. My girls were clearly not welcomed there and when they decided to play on the floor with their own stuffed animals, a horrible employee ripped my little one's stuffy out of her hands, told her NOT to play with them on the floor and proceeded to walk away with it. I promptly told her that was my daughters stuffed toy. She was embarrassed but didn't bother to apologize. That was enough for me. I was in there to buy fabric for three Halloween costumes but based on the treatment of my small children, we were done. I had to explain to my children that some people are just jerks and there is no excusing that behaviour.

It's small for the franchise, and very few of the staff seem to have experience with making _clothing_; the vast majority of their expertise appears to lie with quilting only. Their prices are also quite high, which is normal for this franchise. For visitors or newcomers to this city, I recommend you check out Mook Fabrics which is located near the airport in the light industrial area.
