Designed by Douglas Cardinal, Fairview Elementary School is situated in Riverside Meadows. It serves the educational needs of children from this neighborhood, the Fairview neighborhood, as well as the English as a Second Language students throughout Red Deer Public Schools. The school community is well established with numerous multi-unit housing complexes as well as much new construction. A number of programs have been organized at the school to assist students. The School Council supports these programs and works to involve families in the school. The Riverside Meadows Community Association also supports the school by having a community member invited to attend School Council Meetings and publicizing school events.
