Fort Mcmurray Potters' Guild

The Fort McMurray Potters' Guild is a place for people to come together and share their love of pottery.

Welcome to the Fort McMurray Potters' Guild! We are a non-profit organization founded in 1983 for the purpose of promoting clay arts. It is a place for our members and our students to share ideas and techniques, and to explore the craft of pottery.

Our studio provides members with the facilities to work collectively and individually to make, glaze, and fire our work. We offer classes to both children and adults. We also hold member workshops throughout the year with nationally and internationally known potters.

Our guild could not operate without the devotion, the passion and the commitment of our 35 + members. Operations are funded by three main sources:

Class and studio fees
Proceeds from the twice annual FMPG Pottery Sale
Operating grant ftom the Alberta Foundation for the Arts
