VisionThe Council for Lifelong Learning is a leader in providing literacy and adult learning programs and services as well as personal opportunities for all adults and families. MissionThe Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning supports opportunities for individuals to continue their lifelong learning. We provide adults a pathway to lifelong learning through active leadership, programming and granting funds that are responsive to the community. Values: Accountability, Opportunity, Respect, Ability, and Support. History and Mandate The Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning Society was incorporated in 1984. We have been a partner in the Lions Learning Centre since its 2003 opening. We are one of the 120 organizations across the province of Alberta that address part-time, non-formal, and non-credit adult education needs of adults within specific geographic boundaries, especially people with financial or other barriers. We provide adults a pathway to lifelong learning through active leadership, and programming that are responsive to literacy, employability and general self-development.
