Blooming Creativity!
As a floral designer for over 13 years I have finally taken the plunge and gone freelance. I graduated from Olds College in 2007 with an Applied Bachelor of Science in Production Horticulture, after completing my commercial floral design. My passion is flowers and plants and have decided to share this with as many people as possible.
I have worked in greenhouse plant and vegetable production, tree nurseries, and floral shops; giving me a very good all-around experience in the industry.
As a freelance floral designer and mom to two beautiful little ones, I have opened up my little business out of my home. As a home based business I offer special event, wedding, special order and seasonal flowers, floral materials, floral supplies, vegetable seedlings, and periodically tropical plants. I encourage customers to make an appointment or call ahead if you are interested in a quotation or a wedding or floral event. I often post Do-It-Yourself classes where you can sign-up to learn more about seasonal flowers, and make your own creation to take home.
