The renovations are coming along very well. We expect to have the equipment running again by the end of Fri. New flooring will be installed this weekend. Because of the curing time required we will be closed on Monday 28 Jan.

New at Hamel's!! Tibor sausage (named for the person who brought us the recipe). It is a Hungarian sausage with rice. It is a raw product so must be cooked first. Just boil it for a few minutes in water then cook the rest of the way in a frying pan or in the oven..Come on in and try it!!

Hamel's Meats would like to congratulate Kitscoty minor hockey on a successful fundraiser. They raised $17,000 for their organization. Congrats!!

After a great day on Rob's pontoon boat, the F22 pilot and tech crew spent the rest of the day with Gus at his home. Of course its not a great day without some Hamel's Famous Jerky shared by all.

Rob Hamel and the #1 F22 demo fighter pilot in the world, Paul "Loco" Lopez, enjoying the day on Cold Lake after a successful airshow weekend!!! Rob and Paul were accompanied by the F22 air tech crew, along with Andrew Hamel and friends Al and Carter Hagerty. What a great day of drinks, snacks and of course Hamel's Famous jerky!!

We order all our meat for our restaurant from these fellows. They always go the extra mile. It's the highlight of my day every time I go for my meat order. Love you guys!

Sighhh, This may seem like a small deal to some lol But after leaving Cold Lake in 1996 and the awesome taste of Hamel's jerky behind. I had my niece send us some (To Kingston, Ontario) and it arrived yesterday....It is still amazing :D There is very little left in the package. What a treat indeed. Thank you for not disappointing :)

Only been there once, and the customer service was enough for me to go back as often as possible. Absolutely delighted at how friendly they were, and the dog treats we left with have kept our pooch happy for ages. Highly recommend!!!

Lived in cold lake for a few years as a kid, I got hooked on the jerky! Been in Ontario for 14 years and refuse to eat anything other than hamels! Best Jerky in the world, hands down.

I have had 3 steers cut and wrapped and was very impressed With the service as well as the job . I will continue to use Hamels Meats !

Best beef jerky I've ever had. Deserving of the title "world famous." I was fortunate to be able to get some during Maple Flag at 4 Wing Cold Lake, but unfortunately I'm from south of the border! I wish they could ship to the United States. Wouldn't mind paying the shipping fees for more of that jerky!
