What a great place! I have taken my kids there every time I'm in town and have always liked it, the kids have a blast ( I have a 2,4 and 7 yr old boys) then when we were evacuated from Fort Mac and are staying in Edmonton I find out they are offering free admission to all Fort Mac residents to give our kids a fun place to blow off steam without the Financial Burden on people who don't know how long they will be away from home! I recommended hide n seek before this tragedy but I have so much more respect for the owners and managers. This small gesture is so much more and so appreciated by so many in this time it gives us one less thing to worry about!

Thank you so much!!

I'm definitely a customer for many years to come

Went to hide and seek for our year end hockey party on Wednesday march 22nd. We didn't book a room and had such a wonderful time. There was about 28 of us and ordered lots of pizza as it was half price pizza 🍕Only about 15 min for them to get the pizzas to us from The time we ordered. . Huge pizzas and the kids and parents loved them. Thanks so much for a great place for our kids to run off energy.

We took our families (15 groups) to Hide N' Seek on a field trip numerous times, and always had a great time! Unpack N' Play is an inclusive program with families with different backgrounds, nationalities, capabilities, beliefs, etc. Everybody felt welcome and had a wonderful experience! Hide N' Seek is a fantastic place for families with children, staff are super accommodating, nice, friendly, polite and approachable. Looking forward to our next adventure! - Unpack N' Play

We had a birthday party at this place and we did not take the party room , we decided to have it in the cafeteria. We had over 15 kids with over 15 parents. To us the party room is waste of money , i rather spend it on food and drinks and order extra of everything and have a open tap for ( coffee and tokens) then being in a small crowded room , where you can not keep kids for to long is not something i like . As well you are only limited for an hr in the room. Everything was so well organized by Janine and her team that i left with a smile on my face and my son had an amazing birthday with a lot of food for all guests!

The party area was customized by us and all the deco was provided by us but i am very specific and love doing all of this so i had fun too

Thank you so much for the kitchen staff making great / fresh food and Janine for all your great communication!

See you again next year

User

I will recommend to my friends and family very accommodating and friendly staff specially Anne Abraham thank you hide n seek to make my baby's special day we are surely be back.

User

I have gone here lots. Recently took my two kids there. During the time my daughter got a nice cut on her head that requires a hospital visit. I must say the response of the staff and other parents that go there was amazing. I felt as though everyone was thinking with the same brain. Never have I felt more safe and proud to go anywhere. If I knew names of staff and parents I would have put them there.

Great training of the staff in both first response and first aid. It’s hard to prep for these kind of incidences. Couldn’t have asked for a better response to this

No stitches just glue. And the little lady is a ok!

Thank you guys. I will be back again. Kiddos in tow.

User

Had a birthday party here for the first time. clean and fully decorated room with amazing staffs. Food quality exceeded my expectation. Playground was much bigger than it seems on the pictures. Kids played rest of the day. one thing about this place is that they have very high safety consciousness. Will visit again for sure. 5 stars without a doubt.

User

Excellent experience! We have booked field trips here two sessions in a row because of the high quality facility. Despite many families attending the facility it never feels chaotic or dirty. They put tremendous efforts into keeping their facility clean and up to a mother's standard. Would recommend this indoor playground to families with multiple children that span across the ages 1-5. It goes without saying, these centers are always considerably more busy on the weekwnd or toddler Tuesdays. If large crowds are not your thing I would recommend attending on a week day.

User

Great place for the kids to play. However, it would be nice if they had some veggie dogs/ burger options ( and minus the dairy).

User

Well we live in the west end and we have been here a dozen times or so. The facility is built quite well and the kids love it (age 2 & 4). We were there yesterday and the lights were out in the back right corner, over half of the video games were out of order and they need to clean the apparatus on the other side of the netting. Where everyone runs around is clean but behind the netting and on top and under the equipment is disgusting. If your kid has a dust allergy -beware! And one note....since we have been going here (last year or so) the upstairs bathroom has been unaccessible. They have a sign saying its being cleaned but its obviously not operational. When a toddler is potty training and they need to use a toilet they cant hold it long enough to run downstairs, that should be fixed. Abd every time i am there the upstairs video gane touch screen they have isnt running. Yesterday i used my phone to call the front desk and ask them to turn it on. They have to up their game if they want people to keep coming back.

User

The girls loved this place before it was renovated, we went today and they where disappointed.

a lot of the play area is gone for the big slide, there where way to many kids trying to get up the slide at the same time younger kids where pretty much being trampled on by the bigger kids trying to get up, some of the kids where getting half way up and then crying because they where too scared to keep going up and couldn’t get down - there should be another way up or down. My 7 year old like the slide but it was just such a crowded mess that she only made it up to go down 3 times.

There is also pretty much no where to sit there anymore, lots of people sitting on the floor as there where no seats/tables. And the little market room has even less toys then it did before.

- the staff was really friendly though

User

Not many activities they use to have but cleaner and maintained a bit better . Completely dissatisfied that coffee is nearly 3$ and charge a dollar for a refill

It’s coffee come on

We had been here on a few occasions and it was great. Kids loved to play there and found lots of variation for things to do. I had a birthday party there in November 2016 and it was fantastic, couldn't have asked for better. However, tried to book my son's party for this past November and my husband and I were very disappointed and frustrated. We had emailed for a week straight waiting for confirmation from the party planner without response. We kept calling and they kept asking us to wait for email confirmation. After an entire week of that nonsense my husband dropped in on the following Monday to pay and be sure we had our booking. They told him the party planner was only there until 5pm, it was 445pm. He was turned away, they wouldn't accept payment. We ended up with no place to have my son's party this year. We we're very upset and to this day they have not contacted us.

User

This place has a great idea for it but the way it is maintained leaves much to be desired. They completely let it go... everything looks so worn out, the toys are missing, some games are broken. Looks like no one is really taking care of anything in there. I used to love this playground and went here a lot. I started noticing this and that were getting broken but thought it was to be expected in a place with tons of kids running around. Yet, I was sure things will get fixed/replaced/restocked. But nope. It only got worse. The place looks so sad and so tired now. The Market Place room has pretty much all of the toys gone, and they are not restocked. My girl loves to play kitchen there but today we came and there was no kitchen gear there other than a few food items. The kitchen itself is barely standing. The little cars that used to be in a toddler play area are all gone. Yet, we were charged the usual rate to get in? Another thing to add to our today's poor experience was....it smelled like cigarette smoke in their video game area! Not sure if there is a problem with ventilation and smoke gets dragged from outside but this was the last rop. We are not returning here ever. And I will not recommend it to anybody else. There are much better indoor playgrounds in the city.

User

They way my friend was treated was unethical. To tell her that she was an irresponsible parent because her non verbal autistic son has an obsession with kinder eggs that can cause major meltdowns is a disgrace! Your business and staff should hang their heads in shame!! Sounds like your establishment needs training on special needs to handle these situations better! What child wants or asks to be autistic you morons. Shame, shame, shame on you all!

User

The staff and management is not very accommodating or polite to special needs children. I will not be returning!

User

My wife took our non verbal autistic son to a birthday party on February the 4. She politely asked staff if they can hide kinder surprise chocolate eggs temporarily because our son gets obsessed with them and it doesn’t end good for him. The answer she got was quite disgusting and rude. She was told she is a bad parent and she needs to teach her kids how to behave. The staff didn’t care that my son is disabled and told my wife that they need to make money.

I get that business is important to you. Just don’t be rude, say you can’t do it and keep your opinion about educating kids with disabilities to yourself. I think business that works with kids should be aware that there are different kids out there and educate their staff. We obviously not coming back.

User

I read about how your staff treat children with disabilities. Absolutely disgusting! As a mom of an autistic boy, I will never visit your facility and ensure my friends and family are well aware of your bad practises.

User

Hide N Seek...shame on you. You were one of few places that I felt was safe to bring my autistic child as it seemed very inclusive and safe. My son has even been to different autism friendly events at your playplace with Childrens Autism Services of Edmonton. I am shocked to hear about how someone who I know for a fact is a fantastic mother was treated. It is shocking to hear that your staff and a manager seem to think it is ok to criticize and put down a mother who was trying to proactively care for her child before a known trigger caused a bigger meltdown. 1 in 64 children are diagnosed with autism. We are out there and we are a united front. You have lost a lot of customers and I would say you need additional training - all of you - on not just special needs children but also on their parents and caregivers and how hard it often is for us to safely take our families out for some fun. Shame. On. You.

The staff and management is not very accommodating or polite to special needs children. I will not be returning!

I read about how your staff treat children with disabilities. Absolutely disgusting! As a mom of an autistic boy, I will never visit your facility and ensure my friends and family are well aware of your bad practises.

Shame. On. You.
