H&R Block

I was surprised the first time I went in 2017, I was charged $48.28, one month later they charged me $160.99 for the same service. It is quite ridiculous.

Worst place ever!! I have used H and R for 20 years but had never been to this location. He Charged me $180 for 2 min service as my taxes were very simple. Unreal. Will never go back to this location!!!!! Beware people don't go to this one!!!

Wife went end of April to file our very simple taxes (6 pages total, no dependants etc...) man filed them then tried to tell her afterwards it would be $190 to file hers and $120 for mine. She questioned the price and he said charged extra for late filing. It wasn't past deadline to file taxes. Then he backtracked and said it's because we have a lot of paperwork and complicated taxes. Also lie which she argued he then tried to backtrack again and said okay you don't have to pay. She wanted to take her papers back and he said I already submitted it though. She left and called 2 different h and r blocks and explained what had just happened. They told her that seems very wrong as h and r block doesn't charge extra for filing late, only the government can charge extra. This man needs to be fired for trying to take advantage of people who he thinks may not know any better. Super pissed off and making sure everyone I know will never go to h and r block now. Disgusted with this man.

Never go there! Terrible service! A complete scam!! Make sure they tell you how much it will cost because they will double up the fee at the end and use some excuse for it.. they said they have to file a paper application and charged an extra $50 5 minutes after I left they called and said that they can file electronically so I asked if I get a refund for the $50and they said no 🤔
