What does the earth look like?

We had such a great time at Dr. Derek Rogers office today. They read us a story, showed us all the tools dentists use, talked to us about brushing and flossing, and gave us rides in the chair. We also got to take awesome treat bags home! Thanks again for having us!!!

How many teeth do you have?

Our redwoods are off to the dentists office this afternoon. Thank you to Dr. Derek Rogers dental office for allowing us to visit and learn more about the different professions in our community! We are really looking forward to it.

Thank you again to all our parents who helped bring in containers. The children loved creating with ice yesterday!

Yesterday the Redwood Room attempted to make cupcakes for the Central Alberta Humane Society Sale, however... we missed a couple ingredients and the cupcakes didn’t turn out to well. So today we decided to turn the cupcakes into a sensory experience for the children. The children mushed them up, stirred them, smelled them, and pretended to make more cupcakes out of them.

Raising money for the Central Alberta Humane Society today! Cupcake purchases are by donation. Pop in and get yours!

We have been so lucky to have our kids here. The staff are very dedicated to the whole child and their learning at where they are. I feel totally at ease with my children there and they love it there. I love their Reggio philosophy and can see amazing growth.

We drive all the way across the city for this fantastic daycare and the fabulous ladies who work so hard keeping our little ones entertained, teaching them, and loving them. We are friends for life with so many of the childcare providers and other parents at this daycare. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a constant positive experience. Best of luck!

This really is an amazing place! Everyone loves and cares for our babies like family, educates them like teachers, and plays with them like friends. It’s an amazing place with amazing staff. So grateful we are here!

These ladies are amazing! My girls have learnt so much and made some great friends. I love hearing about my 3yr old's day on the way home and everything she's learnt and my 1yr old has gone from a "momma only" girl to having so much fun with others. If I can't be with them during the day, this is definitely where I want them to be ❤️❤️

There is no other place more deserving of a 5 Star rating than Johnstone Daycare. The ladies are not only well educated and consistent in their method of care, they truly love and nurture all the little humans that pass through the door. They are the reason I was able to come back to work and feel at ease because I knew our son would be so well taken care of. ❤️❤️❤️

My children having been going here since 2015, we love it. The ladies absolutely love their jobs and genuinely love my children. They support my parenting wishes and are very careful of our dietary needs. It'll be a sad day when we leave for kindergarten!

LOVE Johnstone!! The ladies are always so happy and friendly. It’s wonderful to see people who genuinely enjoy going to work every morning. The energy and laughter at the daycare is awesome and the compassion these ladies have is amazing!! I can’t imagine taking my baby anywhere else! Keep up the great work ladies!

I cry happy tears as I write this. As a parent all we want for our kids daycare is for the most loving, caring, educational and devoted caregivers we can get and at Johnstone you have it all and more. My son attended there for a few months, unfortunately we had to move out of town and had to take him out. I still cry happy and sad tears. The love and attention they gave my son and all the other kids go above and beyond. The whole Staff are amazing. Each and everyone including cook and cleaners.

As a veteran elementary teacher who is looking into various early childhood centers, I had the privilege of getting a tour of this facility. All the children were engaged. The room looked full of interest based activities. Nicole, the director, is BRILLIANT and really knows her stuff! No wonder the place was packed full of children!
