Kal Tire

I was very happy with the service I received this fall at the Kal Tire on Strathmoor Drive in Sherwood Park.
I was looking for a winter and rim package for my new car and, having never bought winter tires before, the team member (Mr. Snow - I am not kidding) explained the options that were available. He even provided his personal experience regarding the performance and longevity of the Hakka 8s I chose, which made me even more comfortable with my decision.
As the rims had to be ordered and the package built, he booked me a time for another day for the install, which when I arrived, Kal Tire had me in and out very quickly. Overall, I was very impressed with the service, staff, and store.
I will definitely be back there the next time I need tires.

Awesome guys! Got a lot of work done here previously and they didn't even charge me to fix my tire and torqued it for me! I just don't see that kind of customer service very often at all and thought it should be known. Couldn't ask for more from a tire place. Also very good with any mechanical issues. Go here for honest reliable service.

Booked an appointment to have my winter wheels installed, when I brought the vehicle in I was told they wouldn't put them on because the rims were new and they were afraid of damaging them (How many 100's of tires do you put on and remove in a day?!). I advised I will waive any accountability. They were clearly upset that the rims and tires were not bought through them and instead of being honest, they lied to me. I took them to Park Muffler who were more than happy to install them and take my money. Kal Tire will never see me again.

I am currently driving across Canada from BC to MB. I got my 1st flat tire ever driving through Alberta towards the Saskatchewan border. While waiting for the tow truck to attach my spare, I phoned Kal Tire & booked an appointment within an hour. When I arrived at the Sherwood Park location, they brought me in right away, 3 guys worked on my car, had me fixed up & out within an hour, on one of their busiest days coming back from a long weekend. So grateful for the awesome customer service, they were kind, friendly and show compassion that I made it there safe. They even were nice and worked around my cat in the car...giving him some pets & love. From BC to AB Kal Tire is awesome & has always been a great experience! 😀💜

I called a different the other Kal tire store by mistake and made an appointment to get a tire changeover done. Once I arrived I we realized the mistake I made, but it was all good. The tire associate (Wade Abel) at the counter was more than accommodating and completed the job for me and cancelled my appointment at the other store as well.
My experience was great! They had me out in about an hour.

Took my SUV in to have the front end inspected. Lower ball joint, as well as a brake job needed to be done. When I picked up my SUV I was informed the abs wire, as well as my locking lug nut key was broken by them. Things happen I suppose, and I doubt anyone did it on purpose. The price was fair, and I got my SUV back the next day. They will repair the wire when the part comes in, but I can't rate any higher because of that, and the locking lug nut key.

Absolutely the worst customer experience ever...

Waited patiently - while a tech spoke to customer on the phone...for 5 minutes.. no acknowledgement. Tech finishes goes to shop and returns.. continues to talk to customer on phone... still nothing standing another 2-3 minutes. Tech returns to shop then to counter again... Yah he's asks what I'am in for... I have now been standing for about 8-10 minutes.

As the tech returns to the back I'am thinking the real service will begin... NOPE - when the shop supervisors assists me... My van requires two new Michelin tires of which are not in stock... so the "supervisor" calls the West End location he fumbles with calling... seems to call and is put on hold for 10+minutes. He doesn't get through to the West end location... at this point I Give UP and go elssware.

Customer service is clearly unacceptable with a 20min wait... This was my second chance with KalTire, NEVER AGAIN will I step foot into a KalTire I recommend you do the SAME.

Fast and friendly service .. In & Out as promised... Not pushy in selling their products... Ordered the tires I asked for . Highly recommend
