Hello,
My name is Keshia Carmichael and I live in Lacombe Alberta with my wonderful husband and four lovely children. At a young age I always had a passion for babies and what brings more happiness than getting to be a part of a women and mans journey into parenthood.

In the past I ran a day home where I got to be a part of so many smiling faces my day was filled with joy. Having a family of six and surrounding myself with little ones has always warmed my heart. I knew there would be more for me after experiencing an at home, water birth with my fourth child. I had a doula, something I had never been blessed with in my prior births. She was so calming, so reassuring, she truly made my birth all that it should be and more. I am so grateful to her because if not for that experience I am not sure I would have known my true calling - doula work.

I really feel a woman should get to experience the birth for them, whatever that may be. As a doula I'm honoured to be a part of a woman’s birth and postpartum experience and find nothing more amazing than guiding her to draw upon her inner strength. I treat each birth uniquely and am so grateful for each and every birth I get to take part in.
