KIYANAW will reflect the heritage and culture of a thriving Aboriginal population.

Edmonton now boasts Canada’s second largest and growing Aboriginal population and is situated in the middle of Treaty 6 territory. The plan for Kiyanaw 2015 is to reflect the proud existence and heritage of this thriving Aboriginal population and to increase the number of visitors to both K-Days and the Kiyanaw pavilion.

This event will offer visitors an interactive, educational and intimate experience of the aboriginal communities, providing the culture and traditions, through the sharing of interpretive history, entertainment and cultural foods.
