Don't wait for a cold snap to turn on your furnace for the first time. Waiting too long is not only uncomfortable for your family, but it could lead to other costly problems as well. Contact us today to check out your furnace.

Make sure you keep these tips in mind before you turn on the fireplace this season: - Have your fireplace inspected regularly by a certified professional. - Burn only hardwood that has been cut dried for 6-12 months. - Use a fire screen in front of fireplaces. - Keep combustible materials away from fireplaces.

Common household products such as cleaners and paint can emit volatile organic compounds, or VOCs. According to the American Lung Association, these airborne chemicals can irritate your eyes, nose and throat and can cause nausea and breathing problems. Daylight Savings Time is this Sunday, November 4. Remember to check your smoke alarms and adjust your clocks!

Now is a great time to check the seals on your doors and windows. Heat and moisture can cause these seals to rot and weaken, leaving gaps, cracks and leaks that will let in cold air. The good news is, addressing any issues now will save money down the road on your heating bill, too!

Fall Cleaning is just as important as Spring Cleaning! Open up windows and do a thorough cleaning of your home that includes dusting areas that don’t always make the cut, like fans and ceiling corners, and cleaning the inside and outside of your kitchen appliances.

Keep seasonal decorating low-key with natural finds like pumpkins, gourds, and fall foliage. Bring in cut branches from your yard, stop by a pick-your-own farm, or stop at a local farm stand.

Keep your home warm, quiet and energy efficient all winter long.

One of the easiest ways to help your HVAC system operate at peak performance is to lighten its load. Insulating your home's attic keeps warm air in the home and prevents it from escaping outside. Have you had your home's insulation levels checked lately?

Less daylight calls for more outdoor illumination. Low-voltage landscape lighting is an easy way to dress up your front walkway and to add a layer of safety.

We have used Kodiak twice and both times they have saved us a pile of $. And they totally know what they are doing. We will never call another company ever again!!!

User

Very impressed with this business. Service man was a few minutes late but apologized 3x. Diagnosed and fixed problem within 30 seconds of arriving! Will be calling again!

User

They were on time! The Invoice matched what they quoted, the employee they sent answered all my questions and was very professional. Thanks again Kodiak for the AC/Furnace maintenance and Duct cleaning!!

User

Thank you Kodiak for the excellent service. We called out 3 different companies to look at our furnace in our home. 1 company said there was nothing wrong and the only way we could fix it was to take our house down to the studs and redo the duct work. The other company really didn’t know their product and was way over priced. Ian at Kodiak was amazing - he took time to explain what was going on and even tried to save us some money by having someone look at our furnace first. When it was discovered that the furnace was not right for our home and current AC. Ian provided us with excellent service. He walked us through the best possible energy efficient and cost efficient furnace. Ian also coordinated with our schedule for a quick turnaround time on the install. The gentleman who did our install were awesome as well. Kodiak is by far ahead of the competition for pricing, quality and service, and their staff is extremely knowledgeable. We highly recommend them to any one. Thank you Kodiak team!
