Wow! :) Amazing experience truly. Friendly, gentle during the service (sculpted gel nails), absolutely stress free and they even offer you an ice cream cone! Cleanest nail salon I ever seen and been to, and I am confident in saying that it will become a very busy salon once more people know about it. A very comfortable experience and since I suffer from chronic hand eczema, I usually hate getting my nails done as not only the technicians end up causing me pain with their fast and rough application, but I get judged on my hands condition and hear bad comments every time. Well, in 5 years of getting nails done in Edmonton, this is the first time that I was not humiliated over my eczema and that my skin did not get stressed further. Sincerely, I cannot rave enough about this place. You must see it and try it for yourself. I booked a spa pedicure as soon as I was explained the way they sanitize their equipment, and found out that they use disposable foot bassins. They also use new nail files for every client. Finally a salon that is healthy, worry free and can offer you quality at a decent price without minimizing the selection of services and nail designs offered.

Really Impressed with Amy's work she did amazing job replicating the design I wanted and took her time making sure I liked them through every step. The poor girl was even sick when doing it I felt so bad! They're exactly what I wanted, my friend also got here done and they were equally as wonderful! really looking forward to my next appointment.

I've followed Kumi for a while on Social media. The artistry is amazing and I appreciated their complete honesty and ability to take action if a client wasn't happy so I booked for a spa pedicure. When I went in it was calm, friendly and clean.



I had Tammy she was AMAZING. I work on my feet so pedis are important. She was very thorough, she did a great job in every aspect. My feet feel amazing. She was fun to talk to as well. She is talented and really knows what she's doing.



Also the chair makes the experience 1000x better than any where I've ever been.



I'll be back for sure!

I've been coming to Kumi for about a year now and I won't be going anywhere else to get my nails done!



The salon looks like it came right out of a Pinterest board. The receptionists are super friendly - they greet you, register your license (free parking!), check in your coat, and bring you a beverage. Amazing service!



It's super easy to book an appointment, the receptionists are great at accommodating around your busy schedules, don't be deterred by the waitlist, it's worth the wait!



It's only a few minutes before the nail tech comes to get you. They have an extensive variety of designs, techniques and finishes so you'll always want to come back and try something new. I get my nails done every 4 weeks, sometimes 5, so they're long lasting!



I've had a chance to get my nails done by each talented nail tech, they're always up for a challenge and always eager to try anything new and innovative whether it be designs, techniques or finishes.

I had a wonderful afternoon with my daughter at Kumi for mani's and pedi's.

This was our first visit and we both loved it. Thank you Chantel and Tammy!

I would only bring my daughter to a place where I can see how sanitary the environment is. Sterile bagged supplies, single use files and foot bath liners, etc. It exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to be back for another mother daughter mani-pedi day!!

High quality products and beautiful nail art - literally anything you can think of, they can do it! I can go 4 weeks without anything chipping or breaking. Highly sanitary and excellent customer service. Prices are a little expensive but it's what you pay for quality and high demand. I couldn't ask for a better experience, thank you so much, Kumi!

Haylee did such an amazing job on my nails. She bumped up my appointment last minute and was super patient through all of my indecisiveness lol. I ended up getting chrome rose gold nails and they honestly look so dope. She took her time and really did her best to make them look great. Thank you so much for your amazing work, Haylee!! See you in a few weeks. � The location itself is adorable. I am obsessed with the giant mirror in the bathroom. It looks like something out of a Pinterest dream board. They obviously took their time to put together a dreamy space. The receptionists were super helpful and friendly. They took my coat and offered me beverages. They were so accommodating of my somewhat limited schedule. Honestly I felt super comfortable here and I can't wait to go back!!

Great experience today. Had my brows and lip done with very little pain and no swelling or puffiness afterward, not even little pimples like I normally get. Was amazing. Had an express pedi and booked my 3 session's for the open house discount. This is going to be the place to be for hair, nails, waxing and just relaxing and spoiling yourself.. Thanks to Andrea, Mel and Staff for a lovely afternoon. Can't wait to see you in March

After several visits and finally some nails that last and look great, I feel 100% comfortable giving a 5 star rating. Amy has not only taken her time making sure they look perfect, but takes pride in her work and it goes to show. It's nice hearing that your nails look fresh and brand new when they are over ten days in to the set. Thank you for accommodating me and making sure that I'm happy Kumi Nails �� I would definitely recommend Amy to anyone looking for a gorgeous set!

Awsome nail bar enjoyed my set. Except for the fact both my middle fingers broke after 6 days and was over charged for the jems I got. A got 14 along the bottom of my nail. I referred to friends that went there and the one had most of her 2 nails covered in jems and paid way less then me. So I was kind of thrown off by that. Happy but disappointed. Wish I had a better experience course I love having my nails done for work.

Nails looked good in the end but both me and my sister had terrible customer services. Neither of our nail girls introduced themselves or even asked us how we are. When I told my girl the shape I like she said she can’t do it on my one hand, so my hands are two different shapes... I feel like she did not want to be there and put minimal effort in. Won’t be going back.

I was really excited to come here and get my nails done because looking At the pictures it looked really high end and classy and that's what I want. It was my first time here and 4 of the side of my nails fingers were cut and it hurts so bad anything that I do burns/ stings. I find that to be very unprofessional and a safety hazard. I've been getting my nails done for 15 years and this has never happened to me. I also showed her a picture of the length that I wanted and they are wayyyy shorter then I wanted. The colour turned out nice but besides that I'm worried about my 4 fingers because they hurt so much and The girl didn't even seem to care that it happened she was just like oo I cut you im sorry and still made me pay 90.00. As I business owner I wouldn't make a client pay for that when they have been cut in 4 places. I even have pictures to prove it which i can send you or come in and show you. It's very painful. I have a lot of friends that follow me that come here and that we're going to come here. The worst part was nothing was even done about it.

I really hate to write a negative review but I feel it's important to share my disappointing experience.

I went in and got a full set of gel nails with tips. I didn't realize this would take 2 hours, although I don't mind taking the time for this if the quality is good. After leaving, I noticed my nails were too thick. The thickness of the gel was unflattering and seemed overdone. My friends noticed this right away when looking at them. I called the salon to talk about this and I was told that depending on the strength of the nail bed, the gel needs to be thicker. Thankfully, I was able to make an appointment to come in quite soon (I was even called when there was a cancellation which I really appreciated). A day after this phone call, two of my nails lifted off. When I arrived at the salon for my second appointment (with my two broken nails) I was surprised I never got an apology for having nails break off so soon.

My broken nails were fixed and my nails were thinned out, all free of charge. I was told that the thickness was because my natural nails were short, they had to be built up more at the apex for strength. I didn't quite understand this explanation. I showed my nails from the side and said I would rather have nails that look good. The thickness was really just ugly. After finishing thinning my nails, I was warned that because my nails are thinner they are more likely to break off. They were not overly thin, they were still obviously gel nails.

It is now two days after this second appointment and another nail has chipped off. I find it hard to believe that the third nail broke off because it was thinner, considering two thick nails had also broken off so quickly. I have had two appointments in a week, lasting 3 hours altogether and have had three nails broken. I haven't even been doing a lot of activity with my hands that would contribute to this. I feel very disappointed with the experience overall.

This salon forces you to get a fresh set when you see them but cannot accommodate appointments to maintain your manicure (only one employee at a nail salon knows how to do acrylic nails, saywut?) Amy did a good job the second time but my first set kept breaking due to an obvious lack of experience in acrylic.



I would go back maybe if appointments weren’t a month long wait for fills.
