Last Minute Babysitter

My name is Cassi. I am twenty six years old. I finished the first semester of ELCC at the Medicine Hat College, although, after receiving news on some health issues I had to withdrawal from school. I am currently working on getting my diploma for Child Day Care Management program through Penn Foster online school.

I've had my babysitting license since I was 12 years old, and when I did my semester at college I received my first aid. It has since expired and I do plan on getting it renewed. I have plenty of experience with children as a babysitter and as a nanny for both boys and girls. Kids usually get along with me, listen to me, and look up to me. I consider myself to be a great role model for kids!

I enjoy doing crafts, writing poetry, and in my down time bringing out the nerd in me and playing The Sims 3 and hang out with friends and family.

I have a chihuahua, Toby, who is quite new to our family. He is a rescue dog who we believe was abused by children, therefore he is very timid with children. He has improved enormously since I have first got him and learns that if he wants to be left alone to go into my room where the children know they are not aloud to go into. Tippin, is my cat, he is very friendly and will put up with anything a kid does to him. Just like Toby, when he has had enough he either goes and hides in my room or in the basement.

Helpers
Nicola, is my little sister and helper when I have more kids than I can have by myself. She is 17 with a son of her own, Sebastian. She is currently finishing her grade 12 through home schooling and I am hoping will continue to be with us and get her level 1 in child care to be able to continue on with me.

Peggy, my mother, is a huge help with the kids when Nicola is not available, the kids love her and she has plenty of experience with children as a babysitter, foster parent, parents, and grandparent!

Rick, my father, works away from home but when is home frequently stops by to visit with the kids and I.

My hours are any time you need someone, although for over nights I do request at least a days notice. It is at my house. It has a beautiful large yard, a swing set with built in play house. As well as a small gated area for younger children. Inside, a large toy room with a variety of toys and crafts for boys and girls.

Worried about about a baby or toddler? No worries! I also have a crib, toddler chair, jumper saucer, as well as tons of baby friendly toys!

The first time we meet I do ask that you fill out a a few forms just as a daycare would.
