For those of you who like horror!
Leduc Wildlife Conservation Society is hosting a program here at Library about Bats on October 30 at 7:00 pm!
We love the new upgraded library. Finally visited the new one for the first time about a month ago and have been back a few times since. The Staff are so friendly. When signing up for a library card, without me even asking about it ,the lady let me know they were breastfeeding friendly - which is a nice reassurance as I'm a first time mom and breastfeeding in public always makes me anxious. The kids area is great. Baby doesn't quite know to be quiet yet but I've never been made to feel uncomfortable for his little squeels. I love bringing my 3 year old niece here too as she loves the kids puzzles and books and the mushrooms to sit on. I love that they have so many kids programs, I haven't been to one yet as I didn't realize they had programs until recently! But will attend when they bring them back in September :)
Oh and the adult area is great too. The fireplace and the comfy couches are such a nice setting to sit and read a book or just enjoy a change of scenery from my house haha! So cozy :)
Staff are helpful and pleasant.
I found i very noisy.
Kids doing cartwheels summersaults kids running around .
At times it was like being in a daycare environment
Was very hard being i was taking a online course for 3 days .
My family and I spend a ton of time here. Great staff and great books; kids love the child's area.
Great environment, friendly staff, and my kids love spending time playing games and having me read them stories.
It's a beautiful library but I wish the people who worked there enforced more silence. High school kids came in and were screaming and nobody asked them to be quite.
