Yet another wonderful event hosted at the gallery. Walked up towards ladies in period costume, could hear the beautiful voice of Hanna Taylor performing on the front deck of Lineham House. Inside so much stunning art of many styles. Had a really informative chat with the artist in residence on the top floor Sheila Schaetzle. In the pretty back garden a lecture of the history of the home and the family. Very informative, letters were read from a family member sent home in the Boar War, I found this fascinating.

There were actual members of the family attending also.

Any event here is always so elegant, classy and graceful.

The town is so blessed to have this business in its neighbourhood.

Visited a super cool new art gallery in Okotoks -- the Lineham House Galleries -- once for a literary event and the second time just to go back in the daytime and see the art. Fabulous heritage house and amazing works of art, jewelry, and sculpture by Alberta artists. If you're in the market for some art (reasonably priced) it's worth a day trip to visit the gallery and see the town.

Very unique and stylistic gallery. It's modern and different with a focus on local artists. What's not to love?

This is an amazing gallery in a beautifully restored heritage building. The variety and quality of art is inspiring and it's presentation is beyond compare.

A Gallery to not only showcase local artist and their work, but also to cater to the relaxed atmosphere of "The Emporium of Impossible Things."

The space and the lighting is eclectic with a kitchen attached for convenient Opening and Closing Receptions. The aptly named, 'Alice Room' is both charming and welcoming.

Lineham House Galleries in Okotoks just opened today. To say I was impressed would be a great understatement. The artwork displayed there is inspiring and varied -- and local! So much talent in this area.



There is a very warm and welcoming feeling upon entering the gallery, which is on two floors of an authentic Heritage house.



This should definitely be a destination stop for anyone visiting Okotoks.
