OUR BRAND
Maxim Motorcycles is a new Custom Motorcycle Company and Lifestyle /Clothing Brand based out of Edmonton, AB.
Although we have just begun, there are big plans to become a well known and established name in the custom motorcycle and clothing industry. Our goal is to build distinctively unique but functional custom motorcycles with unrelenting passion and attention to detail to ensure we stand out from the rest.
Just like our motorcycles, we want to infuse that same creativity, drive, and passion into our own line of Apparel and Accessories that people will be proud to wear and represent anywhere around the world. By doing this we hope to create a community of engaged people that will ultimately make Maxim Motorcycles less of a company and more of a worldwide family. But all great things take time, hard work, patience, and persistence. There are no shortcuts.
OUR MOTORCYCLES
Rather than focusing on quantity, and large scale production, we want to take our time with each build to make sure the job is done right, ensuring performance, reliability, and pleasing the eye beyond expectations. This does not mean the most expensive gadgets, bells and whistles. This means building each bike by hand, instilling creativity and passion into each and every part of the motorcycle as if it were ours to keep and enjoy. But we want you to feel and see the effort, blood, sweat, and tears, that turned these otherwise plain motorcycles into mechanical masterpieces that fill your veins with a sense of individuality and unrestricted freedom.
We will make these motorcycles available to the world by providing low-cost shipping that is simple and straight forward to those that are not local.
WHY?
"Toward the end of 2014 I bought my first motorcycle for five hundred dollars at the age of twenty one. It didn't start and it was a pile of junk that I purchased impulsively after watching the movie "The Place Beyond the Pines".
Being desperate to ride it the next spring and trying to justify my rash decision of buying the worthless bike, I tore it down over the winter so I could rebuild it.
While putting the bike back together I was laid off from my first career job as a Heavy Duty Mechanic when oil prices crashed in 2015.
Being obsessed with getting the bike completed, I used what dwindling funds I had to finish the project and get the motorcycle running.
After finding a job, I completed the 1992 YZ-125 project and had time to get out and enjoy my work. It turned out better than I had expected, which sealed my passion for motorcycles.
Over the next few years of extreme lows and highs I wanted to do something I was truly passionate about. Something where I could work hard but love every moment of it. I realized that "something" was custom motorcycles. What could be more satisfying than using your two hands to build a two wheeled machine that people can use and enjoy in style, and love it almost as much as you do. "
