We stopped in tonight to get some pizza, unknowing that they closed in 10 minutes. The gentleman working was nothing but friendly to us, and was happy to take our order.

It was delicious. We will be back! Thanks a bunch :)

This guy is a hero! He is a hero in our own community too. I hope he gets a medal, he deserve lots!!!

Riza is someone who will always jump in to help you. We know him from the Turkish Canadian Community. So he is just the kind of guy who would run for help and save lives. Riza had recently took over this Pizza & Donair restaurant,. He is a great addition to the neighbourhood and I hope everyone in the community will help him become a success. As our local hero he definitely deserves this. Just FYI the few negative comments listed on this page are from way before Riza acquired the place.... so I can guarantee you the food will be great as well:)

I have never ate at Maximo's but eating at a restaurant owned by a superhero is probably good for your health.

Hero for the community. A place ran by such a man is the place to get your dinner.

Great pizza and they're open late. The owner is a local hero, he saved many people from a fire in an apartment block opposite. We had a chat, he's very humble and a great guy.

For courage in the face of danger. For selflessness. For heroism.

Any many that runs into a burning building deserves more then 5stars he deserves a medal or recognition for what he did at a time of crisis.

Had a terrible experience with Maximo's. I ordered a package deal through Skipthedishes, but the app didn't ask what flavour of wings or what pizza toppings I wanted, so I called Maximo's and told them.

When the food arrived, it was the wrong wing flavours and wrong pizzas. I contacted skipthedishes to get it rectified, but when they called Maximo's, the owner told them it was really busy when I had called, and that mistakes happen. Maximo's agreed to remake the pizzas, but not the wings - the owner said he distinctly remembered putting chili flakes on the wings (not what I ordered anyway), but the wings arrived with Sriracha sauce on them instead of the salt and pepper I had ordered.



I'm obviously disappointed that the order was wrong, but even more so that they didn't take responsibility for it, and blamed the fact that it was busy. No discount or voucher was offered by either party.
