This is the best McDonald's in Medicine Hat, hands down.

Yes, I have a fair bit of bias, given that I used to work here before pursuing my new career, but I say this as a demonstrable fact, not just based on my own experience as an employee.

Now, first walking in, you may think the decor is... aged. And it is, don't get me wrong, but despite this, the floors are always being cleaned, and the staff is always ensuring that the tables are wiped in a routine manner. Condiments are fully stocked, and staff are always willing to help the guests when a request is made. Of course, there are protocols that have to be met (mayo packets and extra sauces costing money, for instance, and certain breakfast items being made to order when the clock hits 11:00 AM, what with the all day breakfast), but at the same time, the staff is willing to accommodate on request, just don't push your luck too much beyond one extra sauce.

Going back to cleanliness for a moment, the staff is ALWAYS taking precautions to ensure total cleanliness of the lobby and back areas. They never cross contaminate with the two-bar-towel system in this facility (I made sure of this before I left), and they also tend to have the cleanest washrooms. When I come in, I can always find a clean table with clean chairs. Outside, I can always find someone cleaning the drive-thru. On top of this, safety precautions are also met 100% of the time, thanks to the responsive Health and Safety Committee. Every month, sometimes every other week, checkups are made in terms of fire safety, cleanliness, electrical safety, ladder safety, and a plethora of other safety topics to ensure both the guests and employees are working in a safe and clean manner.

However, the main selling point for me is how accommodating the kitchen is for my huge orders, and how accurate they are on top of this! Now, of course, there is the odd blunder here and there, but to err is human, and the kitchen is always willing to remake the product from scratch, whether it's an error on their part, or because it's not as hot as the guest likes it. Though, the food is always hot, and the time is always within a reasonable limit from my own experiences waiting in line for breakfast and having ordered five-egg, ten bacon, five sausage, five cheese mcmuffins (or, omega mcmuffins, as I called them). The same quality of service continues into lunch and dinner, and while the quality of cleanliness does dip during peak times, someone is quickly out in the lobby fixing it.

Now, in terms of improvement... Bring back my sriracha sauce and make my signature angus as the next sandwich. That and never stop working hard, everyone! ;D

Stopped here for a quick breakfast; I'm from out of the city. The service was fast, food was hot & the older lady who served me was polite. Also the bathroom was clean which is always a plus when it comes to McDonald's.
No complaints here. This was not my first visit, so I'm sure I'll be back again eventually

Wanted some breakfast at 11:30 am and was denied because "it's lunch time now". Kind of contrary to advertising and breakfast burritos always were supposed to be an all-day item anyway. Guess I missed the "not at all locations" fine print. Won't be back for breakfast at anytime, there's a Timmie's just up the road. Service was decent.

One of the better McDonald's in the area. I assume they have better food, just because they don't have the same amount of traffic than the other stores, so they still care about their customers.

I come here every day after taking dabs. The service is mediocre but that's chill cause I don't care too much anyway. I order food in bulk so I'm not too concerned about quality. As an amateur food reviewer it's my duty to eat as much food every time I order. Once I found a massive clump of hair in my mcdouble. I told the chef to remove the hair but he said it wasn't his. Turns out, it was my friend whomst pranked me and put all his pubes in my sammich. Still good tho 10/10

just ordered 2 meals.. forgets my orders.. then gace whatever they made.. got home and opened up and realized.. they messed up my order.. plus the fries were deep fried probably 5 times? are you joking? whoever was working august 16 2017 9:30pm~10pm thanks a lot you deserve your job very much. i was going to call and complain but that would probably ruin someone's day ALSO so im leaving my comment..

Literally the worst service I've ever recieved. Went into the second drive through speaker and waited for 20 minutes for someone to take our order only to have to reverse out and go in a different line. Then other people went through the other window and still got served. Had 11 people come after us and got served before us. What was supposed to be a quick trip took over an hour, plus the food was cold.

The most friendly McDonald's we have ever been to. The staff is super friendly. They do what they can to make sure their customers are satisfied and leave happy. We watched them keep their cool with an obnoxious customer. We would definitely visit this place again if we come through the city.

90% of the time they mess you order up can't even get a simple coffee right
