This builder is second to none! Currently almost done building a home with them and it’s been the most incredible experience. Everyone of their staff members makes you feel like family and not just another client/number. They keep you informed on everything, and their attention to detail is remarkable! I don’t think I’d ever use another builder to build my house! Outstanding quality, incredible customer service.

I have to agree with the last reviewer. This simple renovation has been a perpetual gong show. Some of the trades are great, others are sub-par.

The person doing the trim used the garage to cut MDF to stay out of the rain. He left, and the entire garage is still covered in MDF sawdust. You would think that if you are using your clients facilities, that one would at least sweep up the place when you leave.

Quite disappointing.....

Update: There has been major confusion amongst the contractors. I recommend not going with mckee. Added a photo, play eye spy with the issues. This is just the washroom too.

Sharing renovation experience. I work for a company currently getting renovated by McKee Homes. A job that was thought to only take no more then 6 weeks, has taken almost 3 months and counting. The renovation was only a fresh coat of paint, new trimming, doors, toilets and fans. The renovation has been poorly scheduled. The trades have been poorly managed and have had to come back multiple times due to unfinished work. The scheduling has also been inconsistent; weeks have gone by without tradesmen. Quality of work is also lacking. If I were you, choose a different renovation company. This is from what I have observed during the renovation.
