Meet Dani Evstratenko! She is a 2nd year visual communications student, and one of our social media ambassadors for the program.
Dani chose to take vis comm because of the variety of classes, and different ways it enables her to pursue her love of art. It allows her to expand her skills in areas like graphic design, video, and sculpture.

“I love how diverse my students are. Each learner brings something different to the classroom; whether they are a single parent, international student, coming straight out of high school or a lifelong learner, they see the value in helping each other, and that is so inspiring.” - Tara Williams, Instructor, Business

"I love our students! Their enthusiasm for learning is why I love my job. That energy is infectious and forces me to challenge myself to be a better instructor." - Nicole Burnett, Instructor, UT Humanities & Social Science

"I love our education students’ passion for teaching, and their enthusiasm in becoming the best 21st century educators that they can; it isn’t easy, in fact it’s complex, messy and exciting, and they embrace that. They jump in fully to every challenge and are willing to take risks. I love their ability to challenge me as a person and academically." - Colleen Whidden, UT Education

"My dad was interested in nature shows so watched them when I was little, and always read animal stories. I also spent many weekends happily wandering around my aunt and uncle’s farm, exploring the creek and woodlot."
- Jo-Anne Reynolds, MHC instructor on what sparked her interest in the sciences.

Having an amazing online, txting, emailing province to province first time experience with MHC. My son, trying to apply introduce himself and find his way around for the first time ever at a post secondary institution and experiencing nothing but welcomed open arms. A huge shout out to Irlanda Price for helping accommodate at a drop of a dime. 📚📖📚

User

Best place to study..

User

Excellent

User

Small class sizes are nice and the people are nice. If you're looking for a quiet place to work you're out of luck though.

User

I enjoyed my time here, though like everything they could improve

User

The teachers in one year or less programs are not actually teachers..they are only instructors and you could sure tell! They couldn't even answer lots of questions and one particular accounting instructor thought sitting there texting on his cell phone was more important then work!! Unless your in a transfer program the short courses are a joke. Only put on to make money for the college. They allow way too many people to enrol and there are no jobs!!

User

A school that has a power engineering campus has no excuse to have the gym that sweltering hot in CANADIAN Winter for a basketball game Give me a call MHC if you want someone competent to manage your building operations.
