Where to start? Olivia and I had our wedding at the Meridian on September 2, 2017 and what a time it was. The hall had changed hands(but stayed in their family) midway through our wedding planning, and most of the time that would spell disaster... but not with Rocky and Ricky at the helm! These guys have been absolutely incredible to deal with; they were patient, helpful, understanding, intuitive, and most of all they made it not just their hall - but "our hall" as well. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming dealing with them for the planning, layouts, big details and small details, food, aesthetics, time frames, and people flow etc.... It was like we were part of the family. There are so many items to planning a wedding and we did our ceremony and reception here which added quite a bit of coordination complexity, and it all went absolutely perfect. The hall has had some reno's with new carpet, paint, tile, lighting, use of the new and improved green room for the ladies. It was already nice to look at, but now its the nicest hall I have personally ever been in when done up to the 9's or just kept simple. The food was incredible, and absolutely everyone loved it, we have been getting compliments every time we see someone that about how much variety there was, and the quality. They are very fair and reasonable as well, they will level with you, be honest, and help you find the best way to do your wedding. There really is a sense of honor and integrity that comes with a long time ran family business such as this. Their reputation is truly number one, and they will do anything and everything to keep it that way which makes them super great to deal with. There are so much more things to say but I would highly recommend coming here for a wedding(especially a big wedding) or event or any kind. And I would put it up against anywhere for the quality of the overall product you are getting for your money. We were super happy, and impressed as you can see and I cant say enough good things. Thank you guys so much. We will always remember our big day with you.

We recently had our Annual club event at Meridian on March 3rd 2018 and it was great .Both Rocky and Ricky were really helpful and went out of their way to help us get the most out of the place. The food was really awesome and the place is well maintained and the staff is courteous and we are looking forward to having our event here next year as well.

We chose the Meridian Banquet Hall for our wedding reception on May 30th 2015 and we are so glad we did!! We actually had our heart set on another nearby venue, but that changed after an extremely disappointing meeting at this other particular banquet hall. After our initial plan fell through, my husband called the Meridian sounding pretty desperate while requesting an initial meeting (since he was dealing with an extremely upset fiance..) Ranjit, the Meridian owner, told us he would stay at the hall and that we could come see him that night. This was well after his shift was over and he should have gone home to his family already. Ranjit sat with us for over an hour answering all of our questions and blowing us away with his professionalism and friendliness. We put a deposit down that evening to reserve the Meridian for our wedding.



I can not say enough great things about the Meridian banquet hall. Not only is it a beautiful venue and has INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS food (including Ukrainian food which was very important to me and my family), but the staff are amazing! The minute we walked in the door, we felt welcome. You can tell this is a family run business because each person took such pride in providing the best possible service. It was never more than 5 minutes after we were in the hall, that we were greeted with a smile, given drinks, and asked if we wanted lunch or supper from their connecting restaurant. I was sent home with butter chicken to go more than once as I was wedding planning!! Ranjit and his daughter Ash were so unbelievably helpful, approachable and ALWAYS so accommodating. Any request we had was always given the answer, "This is your special day, we will make it happen". I am someone who is extremely type A, so having Ranjit and Ash always willing to answer my questions in numerous e-mails or to sit down with me whenever I wanted was such a relief.



I highly recommend the Meridian banquet hall to anyone searching for the perfect venue!

This was the best venue in Edmonton we could have chosen for our wedding hands down. Both Ricky and Rocky took over ownership of the hall towards the end of our planning period but it seemed like they have been running it for years and they had already started making things better by changing the carpet and the paint! The place is super spacious, the dance floor is awesome, the lighting and chandeliers are classy, and the bar area is like a lounge on its own!



The food was very tasty, served right on time, and all the staff were super helpful in catering to our needs. All our guests were in love with the place and had nothing but good things to say. Ricky and Rocky went above and beyond so we can have a special day and it sure turned out into one we will never forget due to their servant hearts!



Do yourselves a favor and at least check this place out, there's no other one in the city that gives you a higher value in my opinion!

I would highly recommend this venue to anyone that is looking to hold a wedding ceremony and reception. I had so many positive comments about the delicious food, (Eastern menu - highly recommend the goat curry and butter chicken!!!) and excellent service. Pricing is also very reasonable!

The room was with a king bed but very tight to move around. There was no safe in the room that I usually like to have. Bathroom was very very small but clean. The staff was very friendly.
