Montana'S Bbq

Went on a Saturday evening with my wife and 3 kids and my dad, waited 10 minutes for a seat, which was no problem, our server Terry was friendly and helpful with any questions we had and was always ready to refill our drinks, our appetizers were awesome we enjoyed the potato skins and the chicken bites. Our meals didn't seem to take any longer than any other restaurant on a Saturday evening, the meals for our 2 youngest came out first which was nice and the rest weren't far behind and we were all impressed, the ribs were excellent, loved the sauces and most importantly the wife and kids had no complaints, we will definitely be back!

Totally enjoyed our visit!! Celebrated our son's 13th birthday!! Wore the Antlers and had great service from Erika!!!

The food was amazing, especially the 9piece ribs, fresh and delicious. Been there with my family like 4 times and I'll be back soon.

Our family went there for a surprise birthday dinner. From the manager that helped me plan for seating and cake to the servers the night of .... everyone was absolutely amazing!.

I liked it.! Very spacious tables and the staffs were amazing

Had the 6 piece ribs, excellent, servers were very engaging, service was great, no issues with table selection.. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food!

Good food with excellent service (in the bar). Happy Hour drink prices are reasonable.

Friendly service, good food as always, however priced a little high, but that's expected with quality. Only complaint was when we got seated there were several open tables, but here places in a corner with everyone else's. Kinda like cattle.

I like the menu and the prices and the servers are nice. My biggest complaint is that it often takes a long time for the food to come out. I have young kids and they are not as patient as I am. Also kids meals should not be lightning hot. They are too little for heat lamp plates and scalding food.

This is the second time Ive tried here after a bad experience. Its hard to get seating and the service is slow but the lounge needs a better system of letting the patrons know when seating is available especially if its seat yourself! I was embarrassed when people left the lounge and we snuck in and took the vacant table only after about 10 minutes to be informed they only went for a smoke! Our bad but maybe a table sign to show the table hasnt left let or have your hostess seat in the lounge as well!! Youve now lost me as a customer. Too many bad experiences with this restaurant.

The service was terrible ..waited for 20 minutes for a table when the place was empty...had to ask for a plate to eat from...ask for utensils to eat with..food took more than an hour

..didn't come out together there were 5 of us...never offered a glass of water. Food cold..We were there March 11th at 5:30... left at 7:45...

Went here once before with the wife for the first time even after hearing and reading negative comments about Montana's but we still gave it a chance worst mistake ever the waiter didn't know his ass from his head. He said they're all out of the 7 ounce steaks. And that is what we came there for he said you could go to South Common but since we were already there we decided to stay and since they did not have what we wanted it so I ordered the 10 ounce steak instead of 7 ounce steak and the wife ordered slow cook tender beef for something like that and for my side I got the pot roast soup I ordered my steak medium rare like always it came up cold and rare not medium rare like I ordered and had no flavor it was boring and I had to add barbecue sauce which I never do I believe if you have a well seasoned steak cooked to your duness besides having it well done (yuck). You don't need no sauce. It was so boring is so Bland and tasteless also the pot roast soup was boring Bland and tasteless. My wife supposedly tender braised beef or whatever it was was boring Bland and tasteless and very chewy. I am a chef been in the restaurant and Hospitality business for almost 15 years and I went to culinary school. I guess all the people that told us to stay away from Montana's and all the bad reviews I guess they were right there is way more better reviews than good reviews for being our first time there we had this bad experience and also waiting for a food they said they have free Wi-Fi but it was broken so we had to use our data while waiting for the food fuck you Montana's. Also the food portions are so small that you still leave hungry. I asked you speak to the manager before we order the food she informed me that all Montana's work out of the 7 ounce steak but the waiter said they are out of the 7 ounce steaks you can go to South Common so you're telling me if we would have left and went there they would have told us the same thing lack of communication from management fuck you waste of my time and patience. We left there and went to the Canadian Brewhouse for the second time and just like the first time it was awesome food was great flavor is on point big screens everywhere to watch the hockey game and also beautiful women and great service. I called Montana's head office to complain because this was Bull shit the general manager email me who is very nice and offered me a $40 gift card thank you which he should. There was other restaurant on the gift card that we could go to but last night April 24th my wife and I decided to try Montana's again for the second time again very poor experience and we also went to a different Montana's not the same one from the first time I ordered my 7-ounce steak as well as the wife she got hers cut I didn't I ordered mine medium rare like always she ordered hers medium hers came out more on the medium well side mine came out perfectly but cold and again boring no flavor very tasteless and the food portions very small I ate all mine and half my wife because she did not like it. Montana's you really gotta step up your game I wish I was allowed to go back to the kitchen and teach them how to cook a steak but I can't. I talked to the manager she was very professional and very nice she gave me half off my bill which she should. Being in this industry is about the customer customer is King I'm spending my money they're not yours you have to do what you have to do to make the customer happy to have continuous business because I could take my money to your competitor. I will never spent a dime again at Montana's it's a waste of my time my patience my pallets my belly my gas and my fucking money totally not worth it. I know a lot of people in this industry for being in this industry for almost 15 years I will spread the word do not go to Montana's it is not worth it and their food I wouldn't even feed it my dogs if I had dogs and since I have cats I wouldn't even feed it to my cats. People don't waste your time save your money go elsewhere like the Canadian Brewhouse you may pay a little more but believe me it is well worth it the food is phenomenal I don't need to add salt and pepper myself or any sauce big screen TVs great music and beautiful women. Also try A Match Eatery & Public House downtown at the Grand Villa Casino in Rogers Place. Great food great people great staff also big screen TVs live music dj well worth your money...

This place sucks and it has the most uncomfortable seating, plain wooden benches(you can buy cushions at walmart tightwads)
