Essential oils for skincare seem to be in so many products today. And we are taught that NATURAL = SAFE. Not necessarily true. You may even have some of the more common scents in your house. (orange, lemon, bergamot) With summer right around the corner, and the sun out much longer, some of these essential oils could cause severe burns, blisters and hyperpigmentation (skin discolouring) Take a look to make yourself familiar. The guideline says no uv for 12 hours, but some of these essential oils could require up to 72 hours.

I know you've heard me stress this before, and see me post many health issues with esthetic services. And I cannot stress this enough, PEASE do your homework with salons and spas. These services are NOT apart of a regulated body. The safety recomendations have not been updated since 2002. Many things have changed since then, but since the regulation has not changed, salons and spas can still legally perform these services at a 2002 level, to save a buck or because they don't like change......but please be aware.....these services can be damaging to your health and skin as estheticians have access to acids, lasers, hot wax, metal razor blades and sharp tools. Without proper training and sanitation procedures, this can prove to be detrimental.

I received a disturbing email tonight from a girl looking for waxing. She said that she was plus sized and had been laughed out of many establishments and was hoping that I could accomodate her....but if I coouldn't....to have a nice day. This broke my heart to say the least, to see this clear message that spas and salons are sending out..."if your thin...then your good enough to work on. If your plus size your wasting my time and my product." Here at Muffin Mowers, all sha...pes and sizes are welcome! I have men and women of all sizes, and if you need to feel beautiful, a pick me up or a little bit of time to treat yourself, then no amount of product can put a price on ones happiness. So....If your a plus sized person, big boned, fluffy, a few extra pounds, rubenesque, or voluptuous then this is the place to get your waxing. (and unlike many clothing stores who charge extra for king and queen size.....you pay the same as everyone else!) NO DISCRIMINATION HERE!!

Hey guys this is not just for the ladies,, her pedicure is an awesome experience especially if you are on your feet all the time, maybe you wear steel toe boots all day and in my case just like have the experience. Anyone from the military will say take care of your feet and you will be more functional.

Hey guys my wife and I made appointments together , first thing we noticed was a friendly smile ! then we went to her parlor and noticed how clean and fresh smelling it was .

My wife had been waxing for just over a year and her regular waxing lady went to Australia to move there so we looked and found Tiffany , she was professional and very kind , her waxing was the hard wax , my wife always used the soft stuff with like a cloth to remove the hair so my wife was very happy with the hard wax , she was very happy lot less pain .

For myself I had never waxed before I was nervous but Tiffany talked to me and found it to be not as bad as I thought it would be ! but I must admit I began sweating cause I was nervous as I never just drop my shorts for any one but she made me feel very relaxed the sweating went away and I was finished .

The price was great , even gave a tip as my wife and I would recommend Spa on Steele to any one Thanks again see you in 6 weeks Dave & April

Tiffany will return your calls in a timely fashion. She is very accommodating and if she has free time will do her best to fit you in on short notice cancellations. Her attention to cleanliness is apparent and it made me feel relaxed and at ease.

Bought a groupon with some anxiety due to a horrible prior experience with my groupon at a different merchant but Tiffany made me realize that it was the best money I have spent on a groupon! She is the very best in Edmonton for brazilians (thats what I had done). Please please save your money and go see Tiffany and no I am not paid/sponsored to write this review.
