Last night some of the participants in the inaugural Hospital Bed Races presented by Raymond James took a tour of the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre.
They even got a chance to test out a bed similar to the ones they will be pushing on September 29th at Mac Island.

We started off in Emerge with our little guy and ended up being admitted for 2 nights to battle RSV... the emerge staff and the staff in the children's ward were nothing short of amazing! Due to scheduling issues my 2.5 year old had to tag along (no fun for her at all) and everyone made her feel.very welcome and at home. Then when she started getting sick as Well (puking everywhere �) the overnight girls in the children's ward ( Diana and Trina (spelling?)) Helped me out so much! We couldn't have asked for a better experience � m

Special thanks to the Northern lights hospital for the great care and compassion they showed me and my family through all this the nurses from the ER to the surgery to the 2nd floor nursing dept was with me all the way for this emergency delicate surgey I just wish I could do more to say a heart felt thank your from me and my family

Nurses on the 2nd floor are awesome. Very kind, honest, friendly and extremely easy to talk to. Well done Ladies, you are appreciated more than words can express.

I went to EMR months ago, the nurses and receptions were very friendly and good caring people. Oh, did i mention the doctor i have met too

A special thank you to the Emergency department and air ambulance crew for their comfort and care this past year during our three very critical visits. Your team is amazing. As well, to the nursing staff for their care and excellent bedside manner in August. Words cannot express how I appreciate all you did for John MacEachern.

Went Emergency and got in very quickly and all the nurses and the doctor I seen were very nice and accommodating. Thank you.
