Thanks for taking the time to read this important message.
First, we would like to send out a HUGE Thank You to both the Cold Lake and Bonnyville communities who continuously donate amazing gently used clothing and housewares to OT so we are able to both provide AND fundraise for the Dr Margaret Savage Crisis Centre.
While our hearts are filled with gratitude, we need to bring a safety concern to the attention of our donors. Today in our donation bins, someone had dropped of...f a set of pots (which was awesome) and also a set of kitchen knives. They were thrown into the bins loosely which could have resulted in injury to one of our volunteers while unloading the bin. This was an unusual incident however we regularly receive items like glassware and dishes in the bins that don't survive the drop and we are left to handle the broken pieces.
In addition, our bins, SADLY, continue to be looted by thieves on a weekly basis. Looters will attempt to reach in or jump into our bins on a regular basis.
Therefore, as a matter of safety, we are asking that our generous donors please only use our after hours bins for bagged clothing. We are thrilled to be able to serve you during the week in the evenings until 6pm and on Thursday evenings until 8pm to try to accept donations later for our donors who can not make it during regular business hours.
Thank You for taking the time to read this message and for all your ongoing support!

User

Great staff, great prices! Everything was layed out in a way that makes sense. Some great brand names for a fraction of the cost!

User

Love thrift shopping, great store, would like to see the boutique section though without such high prices for 2nd hand brand names. Some are very fair priced others not so much

User

I rather enjoy shopping there I love the employees they are awesome however I have seen such a jump in the prices within the past few months and I have become quite concerned as I see many items on the shelves there that have been donated and prices way to high especially dollars store items marked up at 3 dollars. Liquidation items 99 cents marked up at 2 dollars the economy is down and people just can’t afford these high prices and while I do understand that this store gives back in many ways still this is unfair pricing for the community of whom are the ones who donate to this store. The boutique prices as well are outrageous especially seeing it is all second hand and just a few weeks ago I pointed out to the manager a hoodie that was marked 30 dollars sleeves ripped up stains while talking with manager main concern was that sales are up My self personally I think that is wrong!!! Walmart and other department stores have to pay for the items in their store orbiting trends are given the items they put on their shelves and the manager is more concerned about sales if they make a dollar for each item donated it is a profit because it’s all freely given to them
