Amazing how quickly the baby Netherland Dwarfs are growing 🐰🌱
Bunnies are adorable at this age, but the fact that a litter has left the nest box and started nibbling on hay and pellets does *not* mean that they are weaned and ready to leave their mama. Once the babies are moving around the cage, you may even see the doe running away and refusing to nurse them, but again, they probably aren’t weaned. She just doesn’t want to keep the buffet open 24/7!
A rabbit’s digestive system is so sensitive, and for a healthy start, a kit needs acce...ss to the mother’s cecotropes, special droppings which look like clusters of grapes and contain multitudes of beneficial gut flora. Early weaning and the stress of separation from its mother and siblings followed by a move to unfamiliar surroundings can cause potentially fatal bloat and enteritis.
This is why reputable breeders will not allow a rabbit to go to a new home before at least eight weeks of age. Trust me, we aren’t trying to deprive you of the super cute miniature bunny stage. We just want to make sure that the rabbit you take home has the best possible foundation for a long, healthy life.

Basic Rabbit cages and helpful tips on sizing up for a new rabbit.☘️🐇
•Rabbits stand up on their back legs to check their environment is safe, and your rabbit's hutch/cage should be tall enough to allow this without your rabbit being hunched over or folding its ears against the roof.
•A height of 2' (60cm) is usually adequate for small rabbits but large breeds may need closer to 3' (90cm).
... •As a general rule, the cage should be at least 4 times the size of the rabbit. A guide is 24" by 36" for smaller rabbits (less than 8 lbs.) or 30" by 36" for larger rabbits. •Also play time out of there cage is recommended to stretch those Bunny legs and play☘️🐇 •Included is a few common type of cages/Hutches for your Bunny.☘️🐇

Rabbits Teeth play a very important role to there health and well being! You should do a Health check on your Bunny on a regular basis, it is a good idea to get into a routine🐰🐰🐰To Sum Up: Both the rabbits front and back must be considered for good dental health. To help keep the teeth properly worn down, a rabbit must use them almost constantly; munching on hay throughout the day, as well as offering frequent branches, twigs and dried leaves helps to accomplish this. 🐇☘️
•H...ere are some items that are OK for rabbits to chew on:
apple, willow, aspen branches; hay! pine firewood
untreated fresh pine lumber attached to cage so it doesn't move–piece of molding, 1″x2″s, or 2″x4″s
basket with hay in it–let the bunny chew the hay all day
compressed alfalfa cubes.
