Photopia: Luxury Boudoir

I'm still in love with this photo shoot from my partnership with Drop Dead Darlings. Their clothes are amazing, they photograph really well, which is great for all you selfie lovers. And Caylee Larissa Close slayed the session.

I tried something a little different with this shot. I put a sheer curtain in front of the lens, and love the effect. Makes everything soft, and beautiful. The photo is all natural light, which is a first for me. With my new studio I can mix natural light and studio strobes.

I haven't felt very beautiful lately as I have gained some weight. However, Self Love is very important. I always hate when women say they would need to loose the last 5 pounds before a session. I am so excited to finally share this image. I photographed a wonderful women in Athabasca about a month ago and the suspense has been killing me. I couldn't share the images until after her husband's birthday. We did a vintage styled shoot, and I had found the perfect location. The entire shoot was magnificent.

A general misconception with boudoir photography is that you have to bare it all to the camera. I am a photographer who works within you comfort level, if that means booty shorts, and tank tops, great, if that means being in your birthday suit, that's great too.
