We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding dinner one we'll forever remember. Everything was well beyond expectation. Food, service, atmosphere. Picantes is by far the best establishment in the entire Lakeland.

The most incredible food you will eat. Chef puts the time and love into each dish.

The food was amazing � once again! Their chicken is so tender!

Picante Cafe is an amazing place with amazing food. It is no surprise that they are often very busy but even if you have to wait to be seated, it is absolutely worth the wait.



We have been going there since we arrived in Cold Lake and can honestly say that we have never been disappointed. The food is unique and Cold Lake is lucky to have restaurant of this calibre.

12 of us had a very high quality dinner last night. The food and drink quality never disappoints. I feel like we would have spent more on drinks if we were able to order more. The girls are over worked...being hostess, the bartender, bussing tables & serving in turn leaving no time for proper customer service. More staff is required, especially during a busy evening. Wishing this small, local business great success and I'll continue to support them. Just a suggestion to take a look at customer service and staffing. It would be more productive for the business and the community.

They don't do two shot of esspresso in a medium cappuccino, you have to pay an extra. In addition to this their menu let's us think that they would put 2 shota in a small one. It says cappuccino = 1/3 of espresso and 2/3 of froth milk, which means that in a small one (6oz) you would get 2oz of espresso which two shots. It seems like they doesn't respect the indications on their menu/sign. The blend use is similar to a french/italian one. So if you are looking to taste some flavor of the beans you already know that you don't want this kind of roast even though it's still a good roast choice for lover of roasted taste. If you want soy or almond milk instead of diry milk it's 1$ extra. The coffee a usually go ask between 25-75cents. The view on the lake is fairly nice and the place look good. So I don't recomand for coffee, but recomand to have a drink on a nice day.
