Placare Description
We have always been passionate about massage therapy because we see how this very basic therapy so dramatically affects one’s quality of life. We have been given the gift of touch and of care and are blessed to work in a place of both calm and convenience that is rare in a city.
When we named Placare, we had its Latin meaning in mind: to relieve pain, feel better and make calm. But one client, when looking at the word, exclaimed, “Placare. . . Place of care… How fitting! ”. We knew then that we had made the right choice despite the fact that few people know how to pronounce it! (plah-car-eh)
We all have different choices and environments that help to mould and shape us into who we are; who we want to be. Too often though we are distracted by our busy schedules and busy lives, by what is expected of us and by what we think we need and we forget what is truly important. In times of crisis and loss we tend to reevaluate and regain perspective. Now is that time for many people, is it for you?
We have created a quiet place in the heart of the city. One that allows your minds and hearts to rest. A place where you can just be.
