My #BringMeFlowers #Meadow Mashup quilt is FINALLY finished!!! Grey skies and snow mean less than wonderful indoor pictures but 🤷🏻‍♀️ whatever......... When I was taking @judi.madsen class this fall she said something to the effect of, “If you don’t hate your project at least once during the process is it really even worth it?” 😆 And I totally agree with her!!! I definitely had a few moments of dislike along the way with this quilt but now that it’s finished, I’m in L.O.V.E. ...😍. I've got some pretty exciting news to share!! My next class is planned for January - and it's all about FEATHERS!!! This time I'll be doing two dates; one at Payne's Quilt shop, so you'll have to register with Sherry if that date works best for you, and one at my home studio - so then obviously you'll register directly with me. (Email works great!)
We'll build a basic feather and walk through several variations & how they can be applied to your quilt tops - I'm SO excited!!!

I had the most amazing opportunity last month to quilt this new wide back from @tulapink’s new #TulaPinkPinkerville line for quilt market!!! So I loaded the appliqué quilt up last night..... This was not the original quilting plan - but I was tired and it feels like I have done nothing for myself (in general, not just quilting) in forever; so somehow this happened..... 🤷🏻‍♀️. I love it!!!! It’s not perfect - but it’s perfectly imperfect (just like me 😉😂). It’ll look fantastic by the time I get to the bottom of the quilt 🙄.
