Good morning!! I will be posting this week about all the programs that we offer at Progressions Music. Last year I introduced a mommy/daddy and me piano lesson and I have decided to build off that and also include that option for guitar lessons.
Why does it work? I often get messages from parents looking to put their young children into piano (ages 4-6). Often for the younger students I would find that a 1/2 hour was to long for a one on one session. I started including the... parents in the lesson and I had such a great response from that. The parents enjoyed learning with their child and I was able to give the child a break when they needed it and focus more on the parent. It also makes for a more enjoyable practice time at home when the parent and child can learn together! ūüėä The goal is to build to the point that the student can work his/her way up to a full half hour weekly lesson.
