Real Canadian Superstore

If there's only 2 registers open and there is a big line up on both management only looks on and never helps! I'm sure it's because of a union they just can't but it happens often and it's frustrating enough to drop your groceries and leave which I have done. Why else can't managers offer customers service by opening am extra till for 5 minutes!?!??.
I've told the GM twice there were some items that are much more then other stores and when I went back the next day, prices were still the same, still higher then others.
They have these fancy self checkouts but they changed it so it doesn't take or dispense cash anymore. I was told this is bc it takes managers about 10 extra minutes to balance the cash out per machine. Basically it's inconvenient to them, its not bc the technology isn't available, it is, they are just lazy...that's quote from a manager I know.
Also if there are multiple items of exactly the same item, they are not allowed count the item them to push "qty" button, type in the number of items on this case 50 then scan, the staff are told to scan every single item "so the inventory is accurate"! It's the same thing!!! I've waited minutes while they scanned 50 of the same item instead of using the qty button and scan it once. (Customer was buying 50 units of little Halloween sours) but the lack of trust management has for employees makes them scan every unit. Super inefficient store, could be WAY better operation if managers were hands on for better customer satisfaction.
Lastly watch the prices as they are often wrong but the good news is that when they are wrong, you get the item free up to $10. That's good for me especially in the dog section Almost every time I get a 2 pack of chew bones which are about $9 the price is very often wrong so I got it free. 4 x now...but if you note the prices as you shop and when they scan, you can get items for free. Last time I got 3 different items free....if you go on the day they change the prices for flyer event, it happens more then rarely for sure which is good for people like me but bad for people trusting the prices have been changed! Cashiers are super nice, which is the only reason I return. 3 stars for the underpaid minimum wage happy cashier's, zero for lazy management, zero for trusting prices. Beware.

Love shopping here! Always have everything we need in stock. Workers are helpful and have always made the effort to check in the back for items not on shelf.

Absolutely terrible service here. Used click and collect to pick up groceries. Called and notified we were in stall 3. Long story short waited 50min for them to bring groceries out. When asking them why it took so long they lied and said they tried to phone use 3 times and even went out in the parking lot to look for us. WE WERE HERE THE WHOLE TIME AND NOT 1 person tried to contact us. Finally at the 50 min mark I just went in and sorted it out. So aggravating I’m never shopping here again. All your produce is garbage anyway.

It's convenient as its just off hiway 2 in Airdrie. Exiting to back on to hiway 2 is complicated. Its a really big store. It has gym, hair salon, eyeglasses, medical clinic. The dry goods is really large, I didn't go through that area. It also has a cell phone sales area, which seemed pretty good. It has a gas station and liquor store on the lot.

Quick check-out times at the tills every time we shop! Great job guys!

Superstore is a Canadian company that started in Sackville New Brunswick. Look how far they've come. I love Superstore!

Decent prices, good staff make this store, online ordering and pick-up is well executed here. Biggest complaint is lack of produce, trying to find peaches, mushrooms, even lettuce can be a challenge here occasionally.

Has everything you need (food wise). Some other house hold shopping items. Fresh sushi made in store. Nice produce and bakery. Plus a great mountain view on your way out!

This is our usual grocery spot. Nice and clean.

A little overkill on all the seasonal stuff. If you go Tuesday-Thursday you can usually find lots of meat for 30% off. It's generally pretty clean and well stocked. Good staff. And rarely ever a big lineup.
